I've seen this successfully work in other subreddits that are being constantly attacked due to their opinions differing from the masses. People seem to instantly be having their posts downvoted by bots without a chance to be seen. The admin of the sub can remove the downvote feature to only allow posts to be upvoted. The only downside I see of this is that outsiders may think it's simply a circlejerk echho chamber
