it's not a two party system, there are many other parties you can choose from

You don't have to. But that doesn't change the fact that voting third party basically denies the reality of first-past-the-post voting and leads to situations like Gore getting Nadered in 2000.

I feel that by choosing to not vote for candidates i consider crooked, I am making a better decision than I would be were I to allow myself to fall on one side or the other arbitrarily like the cow they expect me to be - the fact is neither person represents me or my interests and i'm going to hate myself a lot less voting for Stein than I will hating myself for being complicit in a system i don't agree with
