Recently, my Dad has made the acquaintance of a neighbor, who I got to meet at this weekends cookout. Without too many details this guy is recently separated from his girlfriend with whom he shares custody of their young son. The rest of the story falls right in line with what you read here on a regular basis.
From what my dad told me, Family Friend thought he was going to get married and have the American dream with Crazy Ex, despite all of his friends warning him about Crazy Ex only wanting someone to father her child.
Because of a heated text message exchange, Crazy Ex was able to involve the authorities post-separation (to what extent I don't entirely know) because "she feared for her life". Now custody exchanges of their young son take place at the local police station, which has a designated "safe space" for such exchanges.
The kid is clearly fucked. Early grade school age, emotional maturity and language skills are that of a toddler. Very effeminate, he wouldn't play with my young relatives, kids of his own age, at this weekend's cookout insisting instead to be allowed to watch a popular girlish Disney film (you know the one) for the 1000th time. Who knows what nonsense Crazy Ex pours in his head about his father and men in general, compounded by Family Friend's ineffectiveness.
I don't want to go into too much detail as this is this guy's private life that I just happened to observe, but there were plenty of other anecdotes surronding this guy's story that you hear all the time at MGTOW. The guy is clearly beaten. His body language, his tone of voice, everything about him just made me sad.
I will let you draw your own conclusions. My personal opinion is it is unfortunate and unnecessary. This guy wanted to believe in the myth of the happy american family so much he was blind to common sense, and now his life is a disaster.
