you physically and psychologically abuse domestic chara
you constantly mock and berate chara for not being able to cook like a good partner would
you one day find out that chara tried to make dinner by herself for the first time, just for you
you sit at the table together to see a gorgeous casserole - baked to a golden colour - and chara in a frilly apron sitting opposite of you, the look on her face telling you well about the love and care put into what she made
you try a small bit of the casserole as chara meekly but sweetly says that she hopes that you'll like it
you spit it out in her face and throw the dish to the ground, plate and all, when you find out that it actually tastes like garbage
you harshly yell at chara to clean up the mess on the floor
you watch her pick up the shattered bits of porcelain on the ground and scrub her hard work from the floorboard, facing away from you on her knees so that you won't see or hear how hard she's trying to hold back her tears
you go to bed that day to the sound of light sobbing on the other side of the bed
you wake up early on a sunday morning to the sound of something shattering on the floor
you briskly walk to the kitchen to see chara staring at the cup of coffee she just dropped
you glance at a tray on the counter, incompletely arranged with food that was lovingly prepared
you listen to chara stutter profusely as she tries to explain that she only wanted to surprise you with a breakfast that she made by herself
you see her visibly shake with fear in anticipation for what's about to happen
you walk to a small chest in the living room and produce a black frayed whip, your hands tightening around the familiar grip of the handle as you firmly tell chara to get on her knees and face away from you
you idly twirl the whip in your hand as chara takes off her shirt, her back repulsively scarred from her previous mistakes and misbehaviours
you see chara stifle a gasp of sudden pain as your first strike lands just below her shoulder, instinctively grasping the edge of the table as though it will stop the terrible burning
you feel chara's frail body shudder in agony each time your whip makes contact with her skin as her attempts to mask her suffering grow weaker and weaker
you briefly pause in between hits to ask her if she knows how worthless she is
you hear chara's heavy breathing turn into prolonged cries and sobs as you intensify your swings into an enraged fervor of disgust and anger
you finally comply with chara's hoarse screams and begs for you to stop, but not before one last savage strike
you listen to the soft pitter-patter of blood as it drips from chara's many wounds onto the mahogany floorboard
you set the whip aside and lean down beside chara to hear her, broken and in tears, whispering "i'm sorry" over and over
you gently caress her soft face with the hand you had just used to punish her
you reassure her, with the most kind and benevolent voice you can muster, that it's not something to cry about and that coffee cups can always be replaced
you hold her head in your arms as she bursts into tears once more and buries her face in your chest
you tell her that you'll always be with her no matter what
you listen to chara's shaken voice telling you - as sincerely as anyone possibly could - that she loves you and promises not to let you down ever again
you know the feeling of having a partner that will never let go
you begrudgingly allow chara out of the house so she can walk to the supermarket and buy things with you
you, on the way there, feel chara pressing her body next to yours to keep warm in the mid-january cold
you have chara help you find all of the groceries on your list and then insist on carrying most of them on the way home
you see chara struggle with both the weight of the bags in her hands and the wounds on her back which still haven't healed
you listen to chara while walking as she talks to you about how grateful she is to have you in her life
you set the bags in your hands down and reach into your pocket for your keys as chara says that she knows she's a such a burden all the time, and she's glad that you're able to tolerate someone as useless as she is
you unlock the door, enter the house and turn around to see chara wide-eyed with a despondent look on her face
you hear chara stutter when she says that she forgot to buy eggs at the supermarket, while you check all of the grocery bags to find that she is right
you stare at her with an implacable expression of hatred as she frantically apologizes over and over before you motion her with one hand to stop
you set the bags inside the house as chara simply stands in the doorway, petrified with fear
you finally lean in behind her ear and whisper to her that she really is a piece of garbage
you shove her to the cold ground, slam the door and leave her outside while the wind and snow begin to blow in anger
you finish dinner early and sit at stairs just in front of the doorway - with a warm cup of coffee in your hands - as you watch chara beg to be forgiven through the glass door pane
you see chara begin to shiver hard as her body heat begins to seep out of her winter coat
you look her in the eye as she sobs weakly for letting you down again
you watch the sun set as chara's shivering grows weaker and weaker
you come down late at night for a glass of water and look outside the front window to see chara, huddled in the corner of the house's porch, trying desperately to keep warm
you listen to her as she weakly re-assures herself out loud that everything will be all right, that you'll come out to let her in, that you'll do it because you love her and because she loves you too, and that you would never ever leave her like this
you wake up in the morning and head outside to see chara, terribly weak and hardly conscious at all, curled in a fetal position on the snow-covered porch and nearly frozen to death
you shake her awake and ask her if she's learned her lesson, to which she will summon the very last of her strength to nod lightly
you bring her inside beside the fireplace, feed her something warm and treat her frozen fingers and toes as the morning winter sun shines through the windows
you, after knowing that chara has been shown her place once more, remind her that you'll always love her
you watch tears run down chara's frostbitten cheeks and listen to her quietly say "thank you" non-stop for having a partner as wonderful as you
