META: Beware private message scam (self.MGTOW)

Hey there man! I am going to bring you in to our new website for men going their own way. The site requires someone to vouch for you in order to get in. We have some well known people like CS, Niko, Colttaine, barbarossa and so on. Barbarossa mentioned this in the beginning of one of his last videos on YouTube if you are interested you can check it out. The video is titled: "The male propensity towards violence", he makes the announcement in the beginning of the video. If you are interested let me know and I will get you in!

Just block them. If it was legit. The person would give out the info first. They would also directly mention the site in the message. They want you to send your email so they can attack you. Don't fall for bullshit. Protect yourself.

Assume every time your network, IP address and possibly real address will be exposed immediately as soon as you go to this invited web site.

Life ruined immediately.

I've also seen a few sketchy sites aimed towards the MGTOW crowd; and judging by the poorly written content, they seem to be purely set up to collect ad revenue.

I went through with it. There is a legit website which is mgtow.co, it is invite only. There was mgtow related posts on there and chat. I even spoke to the developer of the site and seemed like a cool guy.

However after like a week my account was removed with no reason and didn't hear anything since, so no idea to be honest. Either it was accidental since the sight was still in development or on purpose just to harvest my email address into a email address list to sell on.

"Scam" maybe overacting a little, since its not like they're asking you to wire money to a Nigerian bank account. Its shady but not entirely malicious. Just don't use the same password on that site as you do for every other, yah bastard.
