You remember WWI and WWII? We didn't start those wars and yet we were drawn into them.D-Day was dominated by US casualties, so was the liberation of Western Europe. Western Europe couldn't even decide if they supported the Nazis or not as seen by the foreign SS divisions. Europe can have such small militaries because the U.S. bolsters their fighting power through NATO and yet they constantly chide us on our massive military. We go into Somalia and people complain. We don't go into Rwanda and people complain. We stop the human rights abuses of the Taliban, people complain. We don't stop some other small genocide people complain. I don't care if this gets downvoted to hell, before the US dominance of the world there were a lot more wars, and now that we the most powerful country in the world, war has been at an all time low. Let's remember that while Norway celebrates a tiny military and a socialist paradise. Someone has to take the hit somewhere, and it is the US. *Steps down from soapbox*.
