Ever since reddit.tv was shut down, I made the switch over to the thirdparty service radd.it. However, at the top of the page where the video title used to be displayed is now a link that says "Everything you know is wrong" and directs you to /r/chrisolivertimes, a subreddit that is rather confusing.

Honestly, I feel like making this post was a mistake after how the comments unraveled.

It seems like the dude is either trolling for attention, or has suffered a mental breakdown and now believes they are a messiah. Either way, it's sad to see.

Interesting, from the comments you've shared there's more to this than just one bizarre subreddit.

Edit - With the username for the bot, I was able to dig up this thread in /r/botwatch and another one from /r/modhelp (with an admin response).

As of this edit, it appears /u/radd_it, the user behind Radd.it, /u/flair_your_post_bot, and a number of other bots in use here on Reddit, has either gone rogue or had had their account compromised. Another user, /u/chrisolivertimes, has claimed to be this Raddit individual, and appears to have experienced in their own words spiritual enlightenment.

Each of the Raddit bots have had access to Reddit suspended after they deviated from their normal routine and began to direct traffic towards /r/chrisolivertimes much like the message on Radd.it.

As for /u/chrisolivertimes and /r/chrisolivertimes, the subreddit appears to be being used as a platform to spread the message and document this enlightenment.

I'm not just claiming to be u/radd_it, I actually am. That site is mine, all those bots are mine, and I've done many custom data services for reddit. Three of my four bots were suspended almost immediately after I told a demon they were mine. Two of them were spreading the Good Word; BotWatchman was just performing its regular duties.

Everything I've written in my sub is entirely true. It is your choice to believe it or not.
