We have two games each week in the month of September, and this will pretty much set the tone for how the rotation works for the rest of the season.
The first match after the international break, the Manchester Derby, would obviously see our 'strongest' XI as Mourinho sees it. I would love to see a midfield three with Herrera/Carrick/Schneiderlin, and another possible change is Smalling coming in at CB.
Possible starting XI: De Gea; Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Shaw; Pogba, Fellaini; Mata, Rooney, Martial; Ibrahimovic
The away game against Feyenoord will probably see the '1B' team - some rotation, but the team should be equally experienced and not far off in terms of quality. Expect one of the CBs to get changed, and possibly an experiment with a midfield three.
Possible starting XI: De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Bailly, Shaw; Pogba, Carrick, Herrera; Mkhitaryan, Martial; Rashford
(Lingard and Schneiderlin could come in depending on form/injuries/match-ups)
The game against Northampton will see the undisputed 'second' team., with one or two first XI players thrown in. Unfortunately, this might be the only times we get to see Schweini in action.
Possible starting XI: Romero; Fosu-Mensah, Tuanzebe, Bailly, Rojo; Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Schneiderlin; Lingard, Depay; Rashford
