Silly Lena Dunham, thinking that guys don't like you because of your body. Your personality is more than enough to turn people off.

Ya I mean, molesting a family member is a red flag for me also. I feel you OBJ.

Creepy pedophile, also a nice girl. Makes sense.

She inferred alot from a guy glancing from his phone.

You should see what I can infer from someone microwaving a Lean Cuisine.

Those still exist?

Edit: Holy shit they do I thought those stopped production years ago

Ha ha, yup. I see them at all the local grocery stores, and the hospital I work at keeps them stocked for staff break rooms.

average bodied

bruh I dunno about that...

She is average bodied, however 30 year olds aren't supposed to have average bodies. Yes. That woman is 30.

You might be average, but you're average because middle aged and elderly women are pulling that average down by vastly outnumbering women aged 20-30

It's interesting that you would bring up elderly people because in the picture in the thumbnail of the article she looks like a grandma

In the blown up version she looks middle aged.

Yeah, it's shocking that a 23 year old superstar athlete millionaire, who has only been able to legally drink for 2 years, doesn't recognize you as a sexual being when you look 30 years older than him, which is more than double his age, and are dressed like a man.

I've never seen anything she's done, but every time I've heard of something she's said, it's profoundly stupid. Even here, both her initial comment and the follow-up are dumb. I'm not sure why anyone bothers listening to her.

It's like she feels this man has an obligation to find her and her tuxedo sexy. The implication is that it's weird that he doesn't want to bang her.

Everyone is entitled to their preference. Who can blame an athlete for not wanting to engage with a pasty, overweight actress? Does he owe her his dick or something?

She's so fucking salty about not being fawned over by this dude, it's nuts.

....Because of the implication

She's a fucking creep anyway.

Obligatory mention:

Lena Dunham psychologically tortured her much younger sister so she would be afraid to sleep in her own bed then would masturbate.

She also groomed her with candy in trade for low level sexual favors like open mouth kissing in her own words "basically anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl"

She thought this was a cute anecdote that should be shared in her book. It's her creepy personality that is the problem.

This should be called the Metropolitian Museum of Getting Rejected by Athletes.

She's a "writer"

It's like everything she says and does is specifically designed to be as off putting as possible. And then she's pissed that people are put off by her.

Professional victims and whiner.

Nice job stereotyping the black athlete as a sex-driven testosterone monster. #staywoke Lena.

You know what really bugs me about her story, too? She thinks he doesn't want to fuck her because she's fat. I think if anything, he looked at her and thought "lesbian." Because sorry Lena, but wearing a tuxedo to break gender norms looks virtually identical to wearing a tuxedo as one of those cues that you're gay.

(Not that there's an issue with wearing tuxedos or being gay. Just that the two tend to go hand in hand.)

Edit: Downvotes? Really?

I don't watch her show, and my knowledge of her comes from seeing her on Stewart or Colbert's show once or twice. But, she did say this:

"My story about him was clearly (to me) about my own insecurities as an average-bodied woman at a table of supermodels & athletes."

"It's not an assumption about who he is or an expectation of sexual attention. It's my sense of humor, which has kept me alive for 30 years."

This isn't the sort of typical foisting of expectations upon other people typical of Nice Guy™ or Nice Girl™ to be fair.

Umm it is though. Reverse the genders and this is a redpiller ranting about Chads. She can say it isn't, but it is.
