About this project
It’s total dimensions are 18 inches long by 8 inches wide with the box end being 9 inches long by 8 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It simply slides in between your box spring and mattress and snugs against your bed and holds everything you need while lying comfortably in your bed. The product you see is a wood prototype. The Bed Caddy will be INJECTION MOLDED for a stronger, more durable and better looking product. The Bed Caddy will weigh only 2.5 lbs but it will hold up to 20 lbs of items.

Inventor Kenneth Heath Chavis of Marston, NC has created a convenient bedside storage device for easy locating of all ones essentials.
There is nothing better than relaxing after a long day. However, relaxation is disrupted when an individual has to continuously get up and retrieve various items they might need. Too often beverages are knocked over and spilled on the floor, or remotes and cell phones are lost in the sheets. Inventor Chavis has created a means for one to conveniently store their accessories for easy access from the comfort of their own bed.

The product you see is a wood prototype. The Bed Caddy will be made out of ABS plastic material for a better looking product, with thinner container walls for lighter weight. The Bed Caddy will weigh only 2.5 lbs but it will hold up to 25 lbs of items.

Risks and challenges
I feel the possibilities are endless with the Bed Caddy. You have to think how many beds are in the world. I say were there is a bed so can their be a Bed Caddy. With anything their can be obstacles, I realize that. Distribution may be my biggest obstacle at the moment because I'm such a small company at this time and the Bed Caddy can potentially become a huge product when it hits the market. At the moment I am in talk's with several distribution companies to find the best fit for the Bed Caddy. No matter the obstacles that may come my way through this journey if it's something I can't handle, I promise you that I will find someone that can. Failure is not an option, I have come to far to let this not succeed. All I need is half a chance, that one foot in the door and this product is going to go through the roof.
