Can we talk about how, in such a short time, Mourinho made Fellaini into a decent player, that could actually start for us?

What the fuck is this post honestly, did you all just forgot the fact that Fellaini basically dragged us to top 4 with his goals in LVGs first season? Or the numerous amount of times he's saved our skin because we had no other players as physical as he is in midfield for games against clubs like Stoke?. I swear you all have the memory of a fucking goldfish

Mourinho is using him like Kante rather than how LVG used him like Iniesta.

I stay by the point that towards the end of last season, and he season before, he has been one of our better players. He's just being used better now.

He played AM or second striker...hes not an AM or a second striker.

He's a holding midfielder who can be brought forward occasionally for long ball.

He's the same, his passing is still below average but his strengths obviously lie in other areas like his size and strenght. Mourinho uses him in a way that plays to his strengths.

We become one dimensional when he's played further up the pitch like under LvG and Moyes because he's not creative enough but playing in front of the back 4 he bullies the oppositions midfield and forwards and breaks up play while keeping his passes simple. Mou especially seems to value him in set pieces both defending them and using him when we take corners.
