We need the fence sitters. You may have American friends who are wavering from the left; talk to them about Assange and wikileaks but don't be obvious about it.

If you are well spoken and can hold your own in a direct debate, Twitter and Facebook. If you get into direct arguments with Hillary supporters, your goal is not to convince your interlocutor; it is to convince your audience. Three to five good solid posts about how Hillary is in the pockets of banks and foreign powers > a long drawn out argument. Be polite and likeable. Let them get nasty. It works in your favor.

Be the intelligent Brit who has no dog in the fight, but "It's obvious your democrat candidate is bought, mate." Do it without being condescending. "Sorry, no offense, but it's true. Look at wikileaks."

Quora perhaps, if writing is your thing. Most Hillary supporters who are willing to discuss it with you at length are going to be insane.

Here's the thing about the American political mind: most of us will get very uncomfortable talking about important things. To many of Clinton's potential voters, if they are not apt to start shrieking MSNBC soundbites at you about Trump, they are going to be unhappy about "having" to vote for Hillary. They know Hillary is corrupt- but they have been told by all their friends and Daddy Media that Trump is literally hitler so he is out of the question. The thought that Clinton might actually be part of the most massive instance of government fraud and policy profiteering in the history of the united states is scary, and they will want to block it out. They'll need to understand that this is beyond party politics, which have just been a distraction from the rot that wikileaks just recently revealed to us.

Start them with Wikileaks. Get them horrified about what wikileaks revealed, because it is horrifying. Once they see that, they'll be ripe for being shown that Trump isn't actually a racist at all.

There is a linguistic technique called 'trance jacking' that might be useful. Salesmen use it. If they were selling you a holiday, they'd say something like, "Imagine your ideal holiday, you don't have to tell me, but imagine it. What's it like, how does it make you feel?" If they respond, look for the metaphors they use. Speak within their metaphors, and your terminology will be accepted by them. And by trance jacking you've influenced them to put their brain into a mode they are comfortable with. You simply follow the breadcrumbs back to their own thoughts. In hypnosis, it's called getting past the 'critical faculty'.

There might be a way to do this will voters. Ask them what they want, what they like about America, what things they value, what their inspirations are, hopes are, dreams are. The tactic of using fear is less effective than using a positively charged paradigm. People gravitate towards what is comfortable, appealing etc. If they are Democrats, they are probably more feminine minded, so the idea of safety and security appeals to them. The idea of morality, or whatever. So use a cognitive reframe that includes their virtues, that can be diverted into some Trump-friendly.

Honest advice, do not bother with london it's an overpriced shithole. Everyone from outside london hates london. And if you avoid the main cities you will avoid foriegners. i spent last week in our oldest town called colchester. Visited a norman castle and was 20 minutes away from the beach. Lovely buildings everywhere. It was a lovely little break. If you wan't to experience an english lifestyle head to the countryside. Avoid london unless its just a day visit.

Yeah, I live in London but it's purely because that's where my job is. Barely anyone speaks English, every suburb has the same gloomy sludge of takeaways and ugly, ragged shops/stores. We have a terrorist sympathiser for a mayor.

I'm from Manchester, and that's still a relatively great place. All the trappings of a big city without the pretension. And the areas surrounding it like the Peak District are so worth a visit, that's the picturesque England you see on the TV.

I have followed David Brock's career since he wrote that book about Anita Hill, back when he was pretending to be a conservative.

He is a grifter, greedy, unethical, and only out-slimed by Sidney Blumenthal.

I used to volunteer at my church's food pantry until it got to be too much for me. We had a lot of poeple come in who had been laid off, or their jobs had gone to illegals (like roofers). It was heartbreaking. Those were, indeed, the forgotten people Trump spoke about.

I so long to be the "one people" that Trump spoke about. We can do this, if we can get him elected. All should do what they can (I am working on my granddaughter). Prayer doesn't hurt, either, if you are so inclined.
