So you may have seen in the news reports of Larry King's much younger wife cheating on him. Apparently he was pretty broken up about it.

From reading the comment sections, the overwhelming reaction is mockery of Larry, because he is 82 and 'should have known' his younger wife would 'need more' in the bedroom.

So in other words, lets completely ignore the fact that SHE FUCKING MARRIED HIM. Let's ignore the fact that SHE BROKE HER VOWS.

So it's okay to cheat if your husband is a certain age???

If she needed more sexually than an 82 year-old could provide, then WHY DID SHE MARRY HIM???

Just another case of women always getting a pass for their disgraceful and abhorrent behavior. Blame it on the man, even though he did nothing wrong.

Far from the attitude of slut shaming, there's an unwritten admiration of the promiscuous woman these days that can best be described as slut empowerment.

It used to be that cheating on your husband got you ostracized from your friends. These days, however, being able to cheat, not get caught, and gloat about it before Hot Yoga or at the spa is actually a bonding experience. Women are far more likely these days to envy the wife cheating on her husband than to scold her.
