FluffOK, I just got invaded by The Fashion Police. (self.darksouls3)

Was at Pontiff and saw a Mound Maker duel sign for "The Fashion Police." Of course I summoned him, because a name like that is too good not to see what happens.

He shows up wearing a Leather set with a Lothric hood and does a full circle around me, inspecting my set. I'm not wearing anything too flashy, a Knight helm with Herald armor, complete with Silver knight leggings and nameless knight gauntlets.

He finishes looking me over and does a prostration gesture. I can tell he clearly doesn't approve, so I ready myself for a fight. But instead he switches into my set but dons a Lothric knight helm instead, which significantly looked much more sophisticated then the knight helm I had which revealed my collar. I follow his lead and switch out the two and realize that I look so much better than ever, and I give him a rightfully deserved dignified bow.

He applauded me, and then threw himself off a ledge...

TL; DR: Got invaded by Fashion Police, he gave me great fashion advice, then killed himself when he saw his work was done.

I hope you guys get the chance to meet this bastard. It was one of the most memorable "invasions" I've ever had.

EDIT: Goddamn, I was NOT anticipating this story to have been as critically-acclaimed as I thought it would. I underestimated the true value of Fashion Souls it would appear...

    I've beat him without parrying, I just circle round him shield raised until its time to dodge if I mess it up I take no damage.

                          I plan on going around and leading people to secrets with a path of prism stones while donning a friendly torch.

                          I did that earlier today. I was farming the Aldrich Faithful items to get a quest, but, since I hate invading, I really wanted some friendly co-op. I dropped a SotG for them, gestured at it, ran up the stairs and started madly R1ing the silver knights so they got the hint.

                                I invaded someone as a purple phantom in the deep church once, and was met with a host, two white phantoms and a blue sentinel. While dancing around trying not to get R1'd to death, a red phantom invaded, so I backed off until I could get reinforcements. Idiot kept fighting me even though I was very clearly trying not to attack him, gesturing toward the host and just dodging his attacks. Eventually I got fed up and pretty much 2 shotted him. He actually invaded the same world as me a second time, and this time I didn't even wait, just killed him and clapped. I didn't feel bad. Just disappointed.

                                      I've been doing this for days now, especially in the catacombs of carthus. The best friend is the ring that makes you invisible outside of a certain range (forget the name, the 10 pale tongues ring), because you can setup without being seen. This lets hosts realize you aren't hostile as they just see prism stone paths everywhere leading to secrets, and then you can spook em by popping in every once in a while. I call it haunting.

                                                            In Dark Souls 1, Well, What is it was used to mock, but pointing down was always a sign of disapproval which has carried over through the games. Pointing up usually meant you were being filmed.

                                                              I usually run Thrall Hood, Catarina chest, loincloth, and random gloves (I usually go for ones with pointy fingers like Dancer or Pontiff if I can spare the weight)

                                                              I put on the Untrue White ring(or white sign as any cov except SunBro or PurPal) and I look like Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas, also for some reason the Catarina armor jiggles around funny when I swing my weapon so it only adds to it.

                                                                      A few days ago I summoned "Fashion Souls" just before the Dragonslayer armor. It went much like the OP's experience!

                                                                      Phantom pops in, slowly walks around me, then does the collapse gesture. I guess my Artorias outfit wasn't working for them.

                                                                      Then he changes his outfit to look like mine, full Artorias. Then he changes the helm for the Dancer's helm. It looked about ten times better.

                                                                      I've been rocking Artorias chest/legs/arms + Dancer helm ever since. It's baller.
