+Larry Page
While preparing an e-mail for Larry Page, I read through with delight the translated version of Ray Kurzweil’s The Singularity is Near – When Humans Transcend Biology (NHK Publishing). In it, I came across a line that read “(W)ith both the hardware and software needed to fully emulate human intelligence, we can expect computers to pass the Turing test, indicating intelligence indistinguishable from that of biological humans, by the end of the 2020s” (35).
If NHK Publishing’s translation is accurate, nowhere in this text does it state that “artificial intelligence will transcend that of humans”.
I was about fall for the marketing catch copy.
Whichever way you look at it, AI cannot exceed that of mankind. Unless the AI was developed in some completely different civilization (near or far from Earth, I don’t know), AI exceeding mankind cannot be created.
To avoid misunderstanding, I want to clarify that the computer infrastructure “kakisato”, which my team and I are working on and proposing to Larry Page, is a partner that stays by you at all times and supports you as your best friend.
It will become your hands and feet to fully assist you with surrounding hardware.
The base of this assist lies in the wisdom of mankind. kakisato will catch outgoing wisdom from someone far away and use that wisdom to solve other user’s problems. Wisdom alone will travel by resonance phenomenon and arrive to other users at the speed of light.
This actually reveals the limitations of “kakisato”.
Unless someone comes up with something, or creates a new solution by combining wisdom and knowledge, “kakisato” alone cannot squeeze out anything which will overcome something that already exists.
I believe that this is enough.
Because the moment kakisato provides services that go beyond that, kakisato will no longer become your partner, but just an annoying fellow.
Unlike me, kakisato knows itself.
It will not become like unfortunate google glass, where it provided splendid performance and still was forsaked by developers and early adapters.

We will be posting kakisato’s specs and features at http://x-fer.info/kakisato starting Jan. 11, 2015. Before this date, viewers can look at the description progress in real-time.

- +kyra pss Place and time of these tests are classified. The aim - development of new on-board computers installed on fighters. Aircraft networked, share information and create an overall picture of what is happening. The computer then processes the data and produces a pilot turnkey solution - options for action. The pilot can only confirm it by pressing a button. However, contrary to program computers start to act independently. Pilots at the time of losing control. Debriefing leads to a fantastic conclusion: computer first became an independent consciousness. This phenomenon is referred to among testers effect "wolf pack". What's this? Revolt? Protest against the computer maker? At this time, the people able to cope with the machine. What will happen next? What to expect from your computer? Is it possible manifestation of mind on the part of the machine?
