Hello Games is a Small company - not trustworthy because of the failing to deliver multiplayer in No Man's Sky
Bethesda is a Large company and has made Several games that are good and personally I trust them, also I am going to be pre-ordering this game because I've waited almost 4 Years for it.

1984, The Aleph and Mafalda are good reads.
Games these days seem to either garner fanatical overyhyping fans before their release that push up expectations sky high, or no hype at all. There's hardly any inbetween. If anything's changed it's not preorders but the fact that there used to be more manageable hype more often.
