The premise behind MGTOW is to walk away from relationships and in some cases walk away from women. I notice that quite a few MGTOW advocate walking away from society completely and "watching the world burn".

Nothing wrong with that per se, as a libertarian I partly agree with the notion that the current system is corrupt and bloated and the only way to "fix" society is to let it die and rebuild it from scratch.

Now there is one concern I have. Society has a few benefits: running water and working sewers, electricity and a communications grid, modern healthcare, infrastructure. These benefits require numerous people working in a coordinated fashion.

Are any MGTOW on this sub into "prepping" and "survivalism"? Would anyone be up for creating a "monastery" or a "Galt's Gulch" of sorts or at least know if one exists? I'm referring to MGTOW with a variety of skills and a "can-do" work ethic buying adjacent properties in a somewhat remote part of their respective countries and essentially setting up their own grid. Essentially trying to get some of the benefits of living in a society without having to deal with the current gynocentric culture. That way we can "watch the world burn" without sacrificing our own comfort.

I've been trying to find such an institution that's not religious and is located in the US.
