No, clearly former model-c schools provide a better education. At least in Cape Town, it is almost a guaranteed better education. Why is it that the school must cater only for white pupils hair and not the black pupils? This is also a bigger issue that resonates with black kids at former model c schools throughout the country. The school I went to a few years back, basically allowed black boys a singular hairstyle.

The other options? An underfunded township school? Or a periphery school that no one cares in? Homeschooling?
