Gap between man city and man united (self.reddevils)

It's fair to say that man city were the superior team last season. However, both teams seem to be in a better position now. Do you feel that Manchester United closed the gap or City seems to be evolving even more rapidly?

I think the only gap this season is in passing style / Attack City are better, not by much but a Pep team can always pass and attack fluently. But we are better defensively and have a our own deadly attack.

I would say it's close this season, I think our defence will be the key.

Yeah silva is mint, but I think he can be stopped or nullified, same with Nolito and Sterling. Aguero on the other hand...

We will see soon enough but I barely see a gap. We've made major investments in the squad and contrary to the popular opinion of the football world I believe we have the best gaffer on the planet at the moment.

I feel that Mourinho sees this as a golden opportunity to get even with Guardiola. When Mourinho arrived in "Guardiola's league" he got destroyed. 5-0 in their first game. With a squad like the current one I feel like Mourinho feels the responsibility of showing him how it's done in the premier.

City opened with 5 wins last season, I would like to see how Pep Fraudiola manages over winter games in holiday season.

Ok you have to be taking the piss. He managed the Barca B team, Barcelona, Bayern, and now City. He has been highly successful at every single one of those jobs. Go take a look at how many trophies he has in his trophy case. As one of the best managers in the world, of course he's going to choose clubs like Bayern and City. No manager is going to choose to manage at a club below their level if they have better offers. Mourinho could have "challenged" himself and gone to Valencia but he chose to come to United instead. He's one of the world's best managers and when one of the world's biggest clubs come knocking you don't turn them down.

They finished with the same points just more goals - not hard to do against an LVG squad like last year. Absolutely we've improved the gap with our scoring potential. We shall see if we can improve more than Pep's improvements, if that makes sense.
