Gap between man city and man united (self.reddevils)

It's fair to say that man city were the superior team last season. However, both teams seem to be in a better position now. Do you feel that Manchester United closed the gap or City seems to be evolving even more rapidly?

I think the only gap this season is in passing style / Attack City are better, not by much but a Pep team can always pass and attack fluently. But we are better defensively and have a our own deadly attack.

I would say it's close this season, I think our defence will be the key.

We shouldn't be ignoring the fact that they got into CL semis topping a really hard group so there was surely a certain gap.

That's probably why I was under the impression that the gap was bigger. For some reason, this next match already has a degree of importance almost comparable the Barcelona vs Madrid days.

We will see soon enough but I barely see a gap. We've made major investments in the squad and contrary to the popular opinion of the football world I believe we have the best gaffer on the planet at the moment.

They finished with the same points just more goals - not hard to do against an LVG squad like last year. Absolutely we've improved the gap with our scoring potential. We shall see if we can improve more than Pep's improvements, if that makes sense.
