Not only has he not left, but he’s forged a brilliant partnership with Bailly in center of defense – and they complement each other beautifully.

Bailly is fast, strong on the tackle and uses the ball well – Daley reads the game very well, is very positional and has great ball distribution.

I think in the future, Daley could also partner Pogba as a CM, as he’s better with the ball than Fellaini and has more tactical discipline than Schneiderlin. Toss-up between him and Carrick in that respect but Blind is more confident defensively IMO and looked sharp there when he first came to the club in that position.
