I always make this mistake at work with the manifest sheet for our day's post - I send it to the label printer instead of the A4. Thing is, once you close the PDF there's no way of re-downloading it so I just have to give it to the postman.

Unless the printer is VERY weird and 1. has paper like that and 2. prints every A4 paper like that, it's quite impossible since you have to set the format on the PC before printing as well.

or you know, that guy has a cutting board which he can make very accurate cuts with and just arranged before taking a picture. Why is this even on ThisHappened? It can totally happen. I printed tiny shit (on normal paper) before and just threw it away. It takes 2 steps to make a funny joke out of it. Not necessarily that unbelievable....

I can imagine many different scenarios in which this did happen on accident, and he just cut the paper down to match as a result of tiny printing. This is not an absurd scenario because printers are bullshit.

It could. If you typed in 10% instead of 100%, which is easy to do. Or if you moved the decimal on the borders or something, stuff like this is why I always preview before printing. I've done stupid shit like this before and wasted a bunch of paper.

I tried printing a paper at work before class one time (worked at the front desk for a university gym) and sent it to the receipt printer by mistake. I seriously considered rubbing it with a bit of coffee to brown it and wrapping it up like a scroll and turning it in but I didn't have time and it was a final research paper for a financial investment class so it didn't seem approps :(

I had this exact thing happen to me at a beach villa in Greece two days ago. It was the first time I tried mobile printing and the PDF came out about the size as in this photo. Obviously not the paper though.

The best part was the receptionists exclamation: "Jesus Christ!"

Well of course it can. I've accidentally opened my paper drive in my printer and inserted paper 3x smaller than standard paper size. Then accidentally fumbled and hit the print button. Then fumbled again and hit the confirm button.

Actually, you can print all pages on one page. I have done it accidentally before. It essentially scales down the individual pages to one page.

This has happened to me before.

Tray 1 had regular paper

Tray 2 had 4x6 photo paper

That being said I don't know that they make small regular paper and photo paper is not translucent enough to show the other page.
