With Fellaini missing for a "while", could we see Blind, Smalling and Baily playing together. With Blind, playing as the holding mid - fielder in front of the back four or would that be too defensive?

I think this'll happen, especially with Herrera saying Mourinho's told him he sees him playing much deeper

No point changing up the defence at the moment since they're playing so well. Personally I'd like to see Schneiderlin play with Pogba.

Very much looking forward to Schneiderlin playing in Fellaini's place. He's got to earn at least some of that xfer fee back and hasn't really had enough chances to do that yet. I'd like to see Schneiderlin start over Fellaini, then have Herrera come on when they need offense and Fellaini come on when they need defense once injuries are taken care of.

I've always felt that Schneiderlin would compliment Pogba very well in the middle of the park. The opportunity has presented itself for him to show his worth, which was not likely for some time given Fellaini's strong start to the season. Other in this thread think Herrera will step in during Fellaini's absence, but I feel this is a big opportunity for Schneiderlin to convince Mourinho that he's got what it takes. I strongly believe his passing range is better than Herrera's and I'd certainly be more comfortable with him playing as the holding midfielder due to his physicality.

I dont think Blind will play DM unless 4 out of our 5 midfielders are injured. Blind playing ahead of Herrera, Carrick and Schneiderlin would be poor man management.
