Any tactical reason why Shaw was playing so much in the center towards the end?

We went all out so Shaw and Valencia were playing as wingers and tucked in to keep up the pressure since Hull didn't really have any threats out wide

I think Hull players were relying on winning the reflected balls in the center midfield to counterattack so Jose just wanted to strengthen it.

One time you could even see Shaw winning the ball tracking back in the center.
