Definitely.

The Youtube reviews, the memes, the angry rants. It's all been pretty amusing. I can guarantee I've had more enjoyment watching the fallout than most people had who played the game. And it didn't cost me a penny!

It's almost as delicious as the drama of watching Pokemon Go slowly implode.

As an ex-Ingress player I am revelling in guaranteeing everyone that it will be done by Christmas.

Isn't Pokemon go already done?

Pokemon Gone

I only got to level 7 but it did inspire me to play heart gold again, so they did something right.

Lol, I'm playing heart gold again because of pokemon go, and started after lvl 7. Are you my other me? Because I want my mine back.

It inspired me to get liquid crystal for GBA emulator. It's crystal version with some added stuff using an altered fire red ROM. Great game so far.

I mean, you can still play it. Just everyone else pretty much quit.

In my town people still play. A coworker of mine and I go for a few walks a day during breaks and we are constantly running into others playing, especially at gyms. (Downtown Olympia, WA). In Seattle poképarties at bars are still a big deal. It honestly doesn't feel like anyone quit here.

Went to the mall yesterday in the Atlanta suburbs and still people playing. I'm playing as well. Level 24, still trying to get my 400 Magicarp candies.

[–]good_guy_submitter 26ポイント27ポイント  (5子コメント)

Pokemon Go doesn't make me happy like NoManSky does, Niantic was just stupid. Hello Games, however, was deliberately lying to everyone.

im out of the loop, what's the story with this?

People realized that the game is ultimately a bore and that repeating the same grind over and over with no objective but to grind more is kinda pointless.

Lots of people were also upset about all the negative changes the company made while simultaneously ignoring all user feedback. Like what more people were complaining about

yeah the game could have survived a bit longer if they fixed the bugs instead of straight up removing them and then absolutely ignoring the community until (and this is my favorite part) angry fans found a tiny grievance (Google Playstore refund discrepancy IIRC) and reported the shit out of it while adding comments to the reports about why everyone was mad.

They finally communicated something along the lines of "Hi guys we're alive and we're trying to fix the bugs sorry please stop inundating us and Google".

Meanwhile while this was going on the overall community manager was getting so many comments about why people were mad he was like "I'm not the Pokemon Go CM just the head one we're uh hiring". it got so bad he had to put that he wasn't the CM in his twitter bio and ignoring the players and deflecting instead of responding.

sorry still salty

Are you referring to NMS or Pokemon GO? Really, it could be both

As much as I hate Pokemon Go, at least it was a bad game that was free, not a bad game you had to pay fucking $60 for.

Some of it was Niantic's failure to communicate about the problems surrounding the launch (server downtime, the tracker getting removed, etc). But more fundamentally, the game just doesn't have many things to do. The battle system is very simplistic and basically spam-clicking PvE. You can try to complete your Pokedex, but it's heavily dependent on being able to travel a bit or grinding eggs while paying real money for incubators. Or you can try to grind experience, which is brutally miserable and being higher-level often feels like you're less powerful than you were at the start.

And the final nail in the coffin is that playing outside of urban areas feels like a total waste of time. People in highly populated areas get more pokemon spawns, more diverse spawns, and better access to pokeballs.

Niantic released a game that basically didn't have a game inside of it. I played along with the other 45 million people that played it at some point. It was exciting to run around looking for Pokemon but it took me 3 weeks of intense playing to fill about 40% of my pokedex (small town) and then things just stopped spawning. Playing just became a chore and a grind and I ultimately quit because without new stuff to do and no game mechanics its just a broken buggy shell of a game.

It's getting hate because Niantic is being seen as an inept company that was too small to take on something as big as Pokemon. The game has only been out for a little over a month but the big criticisms are:

  • servers were down for almost a week of the first month because Niantic has piss-poor spaghetti code that is basically a re-skinned version of another game Ingress which is a reskinned version of another app called Field trip. The codebase is completely screwed up.

  • They killed the only feature (3 steps) that allowed you to track pokemon. When the game was released you could see pokemon on a radar and it told you how far you were with step markers so you could actually wander around and hunt for them. Without that feature the game became literally mindless wandering and hoping for something to appear randomly.

  • Servers again shit the bed after the latest update and locked millions of users out of their accounts for over a day, sometimes two days.

  • Cheating on an almost unprecedented scale. At one point nearly every pokegym in the game was controlled by botters and spoofers. Some of the biggest channels on Twitch for two solid weeks of the last month were people blatantly cheating at the game.

  • Niantic communicated absolutely nothing to its users while the game was down and everything was broken.

  • Even when the servers were back up the game constantly crashes and freezes on players.

  • Zero balance and no game mechanics. Playing in gyms is little more than mashing your finger as fast as you can with pokemon that are so out of balance only 5 of the 142 currently released are even usable.

They basically released a "game" that was almost in pre-beta state. It's a buggy, crashing, hot mess with no content besides the Pokemon brand and they squandered the goodwill of millions of fans for a quick cash grab.

This game COULD have been a multi-year multi-billion dollar franchise but Niantic just couldn't put together a decent product.

Around 15 million of the total 45 million have already quit and my prediction is that by the end of September active daily users will have dropped by another 10 million and the game will fall into obscurity and stop being played by November when Sun and Moon is out.

Ouch, this cuts close to the bone for me. I saw quite a few of my friends begin to make positive changes in their lives because of pokemon go and then slide back because of how the game was handled.

Niantic had the chance to do so much good for so many people and they pissed it all away.

The 3-step bug put more people back on the couch than Michelle Obama ever motivated to exercise.

From Sean Murray and Todd Howard comes:

Fallout 5: One Man's Lie.

I'm actually considering buying the game now, I mean now that I have zero expectations, I may actually enjoy it.

would anyone say elite dangerous is better? i was really looking forward to a space exploration game, and was gonna buy this until i saw all the negative reviews.

Depends, it has more realism if that's what you're into, but the learning curve for flight is supposedly steep. Also, all the planets you can land on are barren and supposedly the content itself is shallow and not much better than NMS.

Both are notoriously described as being a mile wide and an inch deep, which is just a longer way of saying shallow but extensive.

We still have star citizen releasing later this year. It should be MUCH better than NMS and has a huge amount of funding unlike NMS.

I'm done with the game not playing it ever again. 12hrs is enough.

EDIT: Amazon gave me a full refund!!! Thank god now I can buy a good game this Fall season of gaming.

UPDATE: Sony, Steam and Amazon issuing refunds regardless of play time. http://www.inquisitr.com/3458500/no-mans-sky-steam-sony-and-amazon-begin-issuing-refunds-regardless-of-play-time/

Steam is letting you refund the game EVEN if it's over 2 hours.

If you own the digital copy on the PS4 than you are able to call PlayStation Customer Service to fully refund the game if it hasn't been over 14 days since you own it.

EDIT: Also, Amazon is doing a refund too :3

http://www.inquisitr.com/3458500/no-mans-sky-steam-sony-and-amazon-begin-issuing-refunds-regardless-of-play-time/

I've played the game for just over three hours and they refused my refund on that basis.

Definitely still try to get your money back if you're not enjoying yourself, but they aren't going to be anymore lenient with refunds.

You can get a refund if you open a support ticket in Steam rather than going through the official refund process. The refund process is automated -- support tickets get human review and should be approved.

Done it three separate times. Decided to finally call it quits.

Yes, I listed the technical issues I experienced, my general disappointment, the misleading ads etc.

I did not continue to play the game. (Wtf)

The second time I was linked to Hello games technical support. The first and third time, I was flat out told it didn't matter how broken my experience was, I had played the game for 3 hours and 12 minutes: NO REFUND.

I managed to get a full refund from Steam. I just said that it was nothing like it was advertised, and I got my refund in about 2 hours. I had 3 and half hours playtime.

no its not, at least not for everyone

I have 15 hours, spent ages writing down every single missing feature, how it plays poorly and patches never fixed it, and how it took a good dozen hours before it becomes apparent the games nothing like it was advertised, got rejected anyway.

How to refund:

Step 1: Log a ticket

Step 2: Tell them you've spent X hours trying to get the fucking game to install because its a PIECE OF SHIT and look at all these people having technical problems and you can't get it to work

Step 3: Stop putting in all this information how you carefully explored every fucking mechanic in the game and played it and had fun for like 4 hours before you realized it was a piece of shit but kept playing it for another 11 hours

Step 4: Watch your refund get approved and next time don't buy a game until 1-2 weeks after it comes out or when its on sale because if its that good you can WAIT

It's like being confused as to why you can't return a shirt because you explain to the store owner that you just needed it for a party that night instead of saying it didn't fit.

Yeah, but the shirt says on it that it's 15% polyester, when I heard from a news article that it was 25%. The manufacturer lied to me. I wore it for a long time to make sure it didn't feel like it had 25% polyester, and boy it didn't.

I think I read you have to message them often and annoy them

  1. Don't ask for a refund on the cheeseburger after you ate it...

Perhaps instead of telling them that you played the game for hours tell them you had unplayable technical issues and you'll have better luck

how long has the game been out? it hasn't been 14 days has it?

Haven't played. Is it really that bad and are all the horror stories really true?

Angry Joe's review is really fair to the game, and points out all the good things and bad things. Spoilers: fun for about 4-5 hours, then incredibly boring. Would be fine at $15.

https://youtu.be/uTTPlqK8AnY

I refunded my digital copy for the PS4 yesterday. It was at the very tail end of the 14 day limit (like hours) and I'd played about 4.5 hours.

The lady on the phone was amazing. She was super kind and just asked my why I wanted a refund. I told her it just didn't seem finished. I'd read the features promised in interviews and game sites and few seemed present or even working.

She said, "I totally understand that." Which she's probably trained to say but gave me no problems. She just put me on hold for a few minutes and I instantly had the funds in my account again.

I called Sony for support maybe 6 years ago and I felt it wasn't helpful. This time, I felt like it was just the easiest thing in the world.

Go get your refund. Even if you're on the fence about it, refund yourself and buy it again in a few months when it's $15

Time to pre-order something with that refund money!

Pokemon Sun/Moon!

Because Nintendo delivers (by way of Amazon)!

It's a Pokemon game, and Amazon sells the steelbook with both games.

Worst-case scenario, I hate the game but can sell the steelbook, probably for more than I spent on it. Nintendo and ESPECIALLY Pokemon games exist in an alternate dimension where a game's price goes UP over time, not down(or at least stays roughly the same).

With pokemon games you get pretty much exactly what you expect with some additional frills. Hard to be disappointed when buying a pokemon game unless you have no idea what pokemon is. Information is available all over the place, unlike all the secrecy behind NMS.

SAme, I called PSN and just asked if I could get a refund on NMS. They gave me a 1 time policy, $59.99 back in my wallet. The lady said it's been a long time since she's heard of so many people asking for a refund on a game. There's a reason why smh.

Because all you dingleberries preordered or bought the game before reviews came out. That's why.

I still remember freshman year in college back when halo two came out. Standing in line going to buy the game without preordering, some douche bags who went to my college asked if I had pre-ordered. "No." "Are you in high school? You must be if you didn't think ahead to pre-order." "Nah man, I just know that these companies order twice as many games as the preorders so thanks for ordering my game for me." I walked in and bought it like a normal person. 50 copies on the shelves (small town). Then the dorms had a tournament and I had 40 kills on his weak ass team. I swear I'm not bitter

"Are you in high school" is such a college freshman insult

[–]Not_A_Greenhouse 4ポイント5ポイント  (2子コメント)

I only preorder special editions... And then only games i know. I have every halo special edition. Every starcraft special edition. Pretty much it.

This is true now but I remember (my mother) preordering a copy of WWF Warzone for Playstation for my birthday one year and going to KB Toys to pick it up the day it came out. There was a kid there with his mom or grandma or something that day and he was informed that they had no extra copies left, only preorders. My dad at the time thought that preordering a video game was preposterous! I don't remember if I ever told him about the poor kid who had to wait for another shipment.

Neither. Bought the game a few days after to see what my friends said, and I got to play a bit of it on my friends PS4 day of.

$60 was being greedy compared with the amount of content we got

How easy was this? I too bought from Amazon

I just went to my order and then return. I wrote on the comments that the game wasn't what I thought it was and that the trailers and gameplay they showed off was just a huge lie.

Yeah, I love Amazon. They will take literally anything back, they don't give a shit why. As long as it's Amazon Fulfilled anyways, they can't do anything about lazy third-party sellers.

No mans sky: all hype, no substance.

This November, star citizen is finally complete.

citizen con incomming

The game isn't ready. They better have a fucking metric ton of surprises to have their own gaming con.

Shooting is not polished, not even close. Space combat not even close to polished. Everything else in the world hasn't even been implemented outside basic features and a quest system that right now looks like its nothing more than:

  1. Go here to talk to Quest Giver
  2. Go there to kill spawned enemies
  3. Repeat

They are not even feature complete yet. Polish existing feature should be on the lower priorty end.

They've had their own "con" for several years now. Also, yeah, Star Citizen the MMO is no where near complete. That's years out. The single player has a chance to be out this year, but that's because a lot of the things that are needed for the MMO won't be required for the single player. I wouldn't be surprised if Squadron 42 is delayed until Q1 2017.

Space combat is sick though.

NMS was disappointing on an epic scale, but if Star Citizen doesn't live up to the hype, it's going to be more catastrophic since it had millions put into its development by the gamers themselves. For good reason, failed kickstarters always creates a huge firestorm. This one could be the gaming firestorm of the century if it fails.

Thing with SC is, that unlike NMS the entire development process is shown to the backers, hell they can even play it as it comes out, so everyone knows what's coming. NMS had a bunch of stage demos and secrecy behind it, nobody knew what the actual game would be until it was released.

If Star Citizen fails I wouldn't be surprised if the whole "crowdfunding bubble" just completely collapses with people only investing smalls amounts of money (like $10) for indie games.

Projects asking for more than this will just have people point to the flop Star Citizen was and not put their money in another person's hands until they see a product.

This will totally overshadow no man's sky and HG

And the cycle starts all over again.

"This time it'll be different!"

You can play star citizen right now if you want to, everything is out and open for the consumer to see. There isn't any of this not letting anyone play anything early because they will realize the game is shit stuff going on.

This right here. This is the biggest difference for me. Everyone trying to say "oh it begins again!" Hasn't looked at how SC has been 1) crowd funded so they have no backing company pushing for the release of a broken product. 2) an extremely transparent production style with testing available.

(This has a negative in that a large majority of gamers have NFI how long it takes to make a game and many think the budget they've been funded is larger than most AAA titles, hint, it isn't.)

These two components make it a different ballgame and gives SC potential. Don't pre order unless you are absolutely sure you want it, watch and wait. The MMO is years from being complete and that's okay. I want it to be finished not out now.

What? The game won't be ready by nov. What are you talking about? Where is the official release date.

SQ42 is possible, not the other shit

If you're lucky, steam will refund you. They denied me twice. I'm trying a third time now so well see

As mentioned you need to submit a ticket as the 2 hour/14 day limit reply is automated. Good luck mate!

I keep telling myself I'm holding on to it still just in case it ever gets better.

Can't you just buy it again???

I'm not buying this game twice.

I'm pretty sure the game will go down to $20 when more updates are out

I mean return this copy, or sell it. And if this ever gets better, buy it again.

Return it and buy it later when there's more features and less expensive. Don't reward them for lying and releasing an incomplete game

Requested returning the game today. I'll send it back on Monday after maybe 5 hrs played.

Playtime is still a factor. I got denied a refund with 20 hrs of playtime. i have not heard that anybody over 15 got refunded.

How does someone go about getting a refund for NMS from Sony? I can't find a link anywhere on Google and I'd like my $60 back.

Where is sean murry? He took our money and ran didn't he.

Crushed to death under the weight of a collapsed money fort.

Though, most likely he's been told to STFU and say nothing by Lawyers, Sony or whoever else.

The master plan

I bought it a day in advance at full price. I'm nine warps from start, have 48 slots on my backpack and a 30-slot ship and 8+ million units banked. I tend to ignore pre-release hype and just went with the fact that it was billed to be a great explore-whore game, and it is.

It wasn't worth $60. It would have been great at $30 as-is even with the missing features, and amazing at $20. Subsequently, claims that NMS was a cash grab of a subpar release in order to cash in on the hype are hard to argue against. Full triple-A zero-day pricing for what was delivered is absurd, and hopefully Hello Games realizes this and drops the price before they get absolutely wrecked by the refund train.

Still, I am enjoying it, and don't plan on seeking a refund. I paid my $ for it, I am actually enjoying what they delivered (overpriced though I think it was), and it's not fair to Hello Games to penalize them with a full-amount refund request for something from which I am actually deriving entertainment value. That having been said, if Hello Games decides to offer DLC for NMS and demands money for it they'll deserve to be set on fire.

Agree with you there. I bought the game a few days ago actually. I left myself in the dark to all the pre release hype and had nothing to be disappointed about. Yes the game has flaws and gets pretty repetitive but it sure is a good exploration game

I like this attitude. Sure it's fun sometimes to watch the world (Hello Games) burn over slights like this, but I'm an adult, with a job, and some spending money for games. With Amazon Prime's discount I preordered the physical PS4 limited edition and got it for about $63 , and it's a pretty good looking package. I'm a bit disappointed in the missing features but I find myself still jumping all over the system collecting resources, building up credits and working towards buying a bigger ship. It's all still pretty good fun to me.

Agreed. Ordered the ps4 with Darth Vader on it, and NMS. Still playing NMS.

That's literally what people got for putting hope and shit to some random unknown indie studio. I mean, what do we know about Hello Games prior to No Man Sky? Nothing. Literally nothing. We don't know jack shit about them and then BAAM! All the hype appeared out of nowhere. What a mess, and it's just as bad as Mighty No. 9. At least with Mighty No. 9, the designer, Inafune admitted that his game is imperfect and he "owns" all the problem. And what about NMS? Sean Murray? Hahaha what a joke.

I mean, what do we know about Hello Games prior to No Man Sky? Nothing. Literally nothing.

Joe Danger was pretty great.

It's not the fault of consumers that they've been to blatantly lied to for the last 2-3 years. The game that released is NOT the one they've been shown all this time, and it certainly isn't the one people were hyped for. Hell, the game is even different from gameplay demos shown in April of this year, for crying out loud. That's two months before the original release date. You can't blame customers for expecting the game that was advertised.

Over-hyping aside, NO ONE could have expected a clusterfuck of this magnitude. It's unprecedented. Mighty No. 9 might be entirely mediocre but at least I can look at trailers and gameplay footage and get an idea of the game I'm buying. In No Man's Sky's case, the completely fabricated E3 trailer is STILL the first thing shown on its Steam page. That's just straight-up false advertising. Hello Games lied, sold us an alpha at full price, and then fucking vanished. People have every right to be pissed off.

The thing I find the most amusing is the mental gymnastics some of the more hardened apologists come up with. Now not all people who like it are like that obviously..but some..

I understand wanting to justify your purchase or going against the circlejerk but jesus. Some great things people repeat

Treat it like early access

Its their first game so we have to be nice

Its not illegal because none of the misleading things are on the product page.

And on and on.

Sounds like with future mods they've built a great starting point for a massive elite style game.

reminds me of the diablo 3 launch. game was terrible, but holy shit the forums was some of the funniest roasting I have ever read.

Can you sum up what was so bad about the game when it launched? I played d3 way back when it was brand new but I don't remember thinking it was a disastrous game.

this generation of games has been pretty underwhelming in general tbh, dont get me wrong there have been a few awesome ones but alot of games havent lived up to what devs or publishers have promised or showed.

dont get me wrong there have been a few awesome ones but alot of games havent lived up to what devs or publishers have promised or showed.

That's not unique to "this generation" my friend. The difference lately is that there's a lot more pre-release hype around games so more opportunities for disappointment.

Everyone's out of ideas. Remakes and sequels only thing keeping it alive. Same with movies.

so no need to say he loved the olympics

[–]Zelera 8

This game will go down as one of the most over hyped games of all time.

NMS is this generation's Spore

Oh damn, I didn't even think of that... Haven't bought/touched NMS, but vividly remember how disappointing spore was, especially after reading about how great it was going to be :-/

I've gotten an equal amount of entertainment from both. I am having fun learning languages and histories, and exploring and crafting.

Them hate threads are like the dead sea though, so much fucking salt. I understand the hate because I was one of the people watching it and being fascinated by it and it's nothing like what we were promised. While it's far from what anyone expected, it's still enjoyable for me at least for now.

Just need to stop naming plants and animals since they get wiped after a few weeks.

Didn't the OP of that "named stuff gets wiped" backtrack on his statement?

I can't even keep up anymore. Everyone flips and flops so much on it because they are looking for MORE reasons to hate it. Last I saw (which was about 24hrs ago) it was still a thing.

Yeah, he waited a while and the servers caught back up to him. No wipes

I don't blame you. I mean, it would probably help to have more communication directly from the developers...

It certainly would help but right now I feel like they are in the Niantic phase. They have a small team and a huge game and just can't keep up with everything. In a month or two things will start to improve but how many will quit in that time? It's Pokémon Go all over again. But this time I'm waiting cautiously and being optimistic instead of being pessimistic.

Oh look, someone likes the game, down vote him, he goes against the.hive.mind.

This game over . promised, yes, but they tried something New and different,

And it's still a lot of fun, and has a lot of future potential

That's why I'm keeping it around. The potential for it to be exactly what was promised. Hopefully Hello has learned a lot from this and can pull a Niantic and turn their behaviour around.

Can someone please explain to me what is so bad? What happened?

So where does the hate stem from? I keep reading about it but I don't play it so I don't know. What's wrong with the game?

The game is actually not that horrible. It would be ok for early access 20$. You discover everything you can do in the first 2 hours, and then it's an endless grind with nothing different on sight. The first 2 hours, though, are pretty cool ! I, and most of the buyers, can't justify 60$ for 2 hours of entertainment.

Also, the dev lied about features that aren't in the game at all. That didn't help

Congrats you learned to circlejerk!

They should be animated video makers, because the trailer was kickass. Not video game makers.

I pirated it day 1, played for 3 hours then uninstalled and I still want a refund.

sounds like a really sad, shitty way to live your life.

Really? It's hilarious watching the backlash on here and not because I'm a cynical jerk, but because hello games dun screwed up and I like watching the crap going on. Anyone remember the skyrim paid mods thing? I enjoyed that too.

Or the hail Hydra Captain America.

I don't remember that?! What was it about?

A comic came out and it revealed that Captain America was secretly a member of Hydra all along pretty much shitting on everything the character stood for.

But since it's a comic it's pretty well known that it was irrelevant to get pissy about because brain washing,(what happened here) magic and alternate times are all to common.

Yeah, anyone that has spent time reading comics would have assumed that a retcon would come pretty quickly just like when Doc Ock took over Peter Parker's body.

I love'd Superior Spiderman but those really weren't retcons the cap thing had clues from issue 1 and Superior didn't really have any other end game other than killing Peter again, for the millionth time.

Huh. Then again it's the comics so there's like a million timelines and universes and what not.

there is not a human being alive who does not like watching drama unfold. those who say they don't just want to act superior.

This post is what's wrong with the gaming community

Why? How is watching and laughing at a bunch of drama something wrong with the gaming community?

Haven't you heard? It's quite popular to say "'X' is what's wrong with 'Group'", it lets you act smug and superior to everyone else without actually having to provide any meaningful arguments.

This game looked terrible from the second I saw it. There is no point. You do nothing. Oh man I get to fly to this planet and name this plant oh boy! Oh man this new planet has some dog animal and I get to name it! Wow this planet has some crazy minerals I get to name it!! Woah man I just aim this lazer and harvest rocks it's wicked fun. And that's it. Wow, what a fucking blast. What an amazing game. You're all idiots if you fell into the "hype" of this game. How did any of this excite anyone? This game could not have looked any more boring from the videos I saw. Woah that's crazy you name things damn what a fun game. Naming things. Woah look out.

For some of us, the thrill is in the experience and not so much the outcome.

To each their own.

The concept of the game could be amazing if it was more multiplayer focused. A true sandbox MMORPG. Eve on steroids.

....and this is what people got. So glad I didn't preorder.

Oh yeah, and I didn't even have to pay for this game.

I have a question. Is there not a chance that all the missing features and stuff won't be added in future updates? I know that some games get terrible reviews at launch, but a year later all the issues are fixed and new features have been added. I really hope this is the case. I haven't even played the game longer than an hour, but from what I played, it seemed like a decent time waster. Maybe not a $60 time waster.

I dont know if all the missing features will ever get added in but base building and personal freighters have been confirmed. Theyve also released a patch every few days for the last couple weeks and have fixed a lot of problems. Mods are also available for the game so theres lots of potential there too.

Personally I enjoy the game but, like others have said, it really should not have been a $60 game. In a year or so you should definitely pick it up if the price has dropped enough and youre still interested in it.

No mention of it. Most update mentions have been about bugs and then Murray flipped flopped on whether or not DLC could possibly come out and whether or not for free so really it's a toss up at this point

Just like the game, the discussion is literally the same thing every time.

The Drama is real!

I had more fun making a video about it

I think everyone should send their physical copies back to hello games as a protest.

Everyday a new way to shit on NMS. The shit that keeps on giving.

My friend got a full refund from Walmart in store. Told them it didn't work as it was supposed to. I offered him a twenty and he said if it didn't work out with Walmart then deal.Oh well, I'm curious about the game and it would surprise me very much if it didn't hit a 20 dollar sale before Christmas on steam or either of the consoles.

I'm having fun doing BOTH!

I haven't said anything about this, not that my opinion matters anyway but, I saw this shit coming from a mile a way after watching a few trailers like a year back. I'm genuinely surprised other people are surprised that the game wasn't the best thing ever after watching an hour or so of gameplay.

It's all I've ever done with the game, actually. I haven't ever played it, but I've already had hours of entertainment from it.

The hate train is so cathartic after months of watching the unrepentant hype train.

So are the rest of the haters.

This is roughly how the 2016 election is going for me.
