It's a pretty stupid thing for them to brag about. They're basically making it seem like they're obstructing justice, when in reality, they apparently just make a good product.

You don't blame the gun manufacturer when a criminal breaks the law, but what they're doing is basically like Colt advertising as "the gun that shoots the most of your rival gang". Crime is a garbage way to advertise. Can you imagine encryption firms going "We're the ones who terrorists prefer"?
