Hey Reddit,

So here goes. I know there are a lot of people who are down right irate about No Man's Sky. From the false claims about multiplayer, to the poor performance, and the lack of content itself. Everyone seems to have something they did not like with the game. Because let's be frank the game was not at all what the "advertising" made it out to be, not even close.

So today I attempted to get a refund from Steam for the game as I was not happy with my purchase. I knew I had gone over Steam's 2 hour return policy, but thought it would be worth a try (I had play 3.86 hours into the game, I really wanted to give it a chance...). Well my return was denied, no big deal figured it would happen. However, what has surprised me is no one has gone to Hello Games itself yet demanding a refund for their shitty product. Why? and on the flip side to this why has Hello Games not even remotely acknowledged the thousands of people screaming fraud in regards to their product? They keep ignoring it like this didn't happen and the final product was everything they led it out to be?

What Hello Games did was the text book definition of False Advertising which is illegal at both the state and federal level.

False advertising is any published claim that is deceptive or untruthful. Misleading advertising is any published claim that gives a consumer an incorrect understanding of the product they are interested in purchasing or using.

So why has no one tried to even get them to acknowledge what they did? It's just surprising to me. At this point I don't even really care about a refund although it would be nice to get my $60 dollars back for a game that isn't even worth $10. I want an apology. I want Hello Games, specifically Sean Murray to man up and admit to what they did. Admit to coming on live television and flat out lying about features that are not in the game? Could we start a petition, or something to get them to see this??

I would love to hear what others have to say or think about this?
