15' The goalkeepers haven't really been forced into a save yet but both teams look to surge forward and attack when they can.

20' Most United attacks seem to be going through Martial on the left and he's looked okay but the team isn't really looking too sharp right now.

Why are people criticising Martial? His cross almost made a goal. He's the only one who's generated chances that led to shots on goal.

He's our only dangerous threat opening up the defence along with Valencia.

Rooney is a really becoming a hindrance in the squad. People will cry knee jerk reaction but if that's the feeling half way through the first half for every game, something needs to change. He downshifts the tempo, misplaces passes, loses the ball in 50/50's he shouldn't. Mata should slot in the #10 and Mk should come in on the right, either early on or in the starting line up

Fair play to Hull, they're really bringing the fight to us and are so physical, it's nice to see actually. Valencia is just fantastic, he might not be the best winger, but I think his workrate is amazing, he just keeps fighting for every ball. It's also good to see a lot of players on the same page, Pogba and Ibra had a nice one-two. The only downside is, Rooney has made a few silly mistakes but I think he's starting to settle into the match now. Fellaini needs to settle down too, some bad tackles, he just needs to keep his head.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse in this thread, but I really think Rooney's ability to read the game today is off. He's losing the ball, showing no creative spark, and can't link up to receive passes. Multiple times he's lost the ball, misplaced passes, or not made the regular runs to receive passes that should be made.
