A Mary G. Montgomery student who pulled a stun gun on a teacher during a fight on Thursday is facing a felony charge.

Mobile County Sheriff's Office said a video of the altercation shows the female suspect trying to fight another female around 1 p.m. When a teacher tried to break up the fight, the teen used the stun gun and ran off.

Sgt. Joseph Mahoney said deputies were able to catch the girl and placed her under arrest. She was taken to the Strickland Youth Center and charged with felony assault for attacking the teacher and misdemeanor assault for striking the female she was fighting in the face.

Mahoney said the suspect's name will not be released because she is a minor.
