This may be one of the deepest United squad I've seen. 07/08 is probably deeper when Nani and Anderson played so good

Romero; Rojo, Blind, Jones, Darmian; Carrick, Herrera/Schneiderlin; Memphis, Mata, Lingard; Rashford

All of those but Jones were first choice for a chunk of last season for various reasons. I think RVP, Rooney, (maybe) a shaky DDG, (maybe) Rio and Vidic, and Nani make it into this team. Evra was already shaky defensively and given injuries Evans was probably our best CB that year. Scholes and Giggs with a shout too. Would be an interesting game.
