I wish they just bloody put qualifying matches at the end of the season in a couple of weeks plus spell really so everyone can watch them too without a break in the regular league seasons. I'd definitely watch them then instead of now when I see them as a distraction and break from proper football and an annoyance really.

And they can televise the shit out of it like a "pre summer" special even. All they care is about money so this makes it better. Stupid mid season disruptions are just dumb to me. Injury risks. Meaningless friendlies just for the sake of it at times too.

All summer tournaments are held in the summer anyway and is post season so the argument of "players being tired" doesn't really hold if that's a point against qualifiers etc being at the end of the season.

Near enough all cardio. I'm going 5 days a week with Wednesday a lighter load than the other days and the weekends a rest. Don't know if that is a good idea but that is how I figured it out in my head.

I'm basically trying to build up fitness again after like 5 months out due to some badass shin splints that they thought was something else and I'm mainly sticking around on the cycling machines to begin with until I drop down a bit of weight/build up some strength again before I start running/doing other exercising.

Also doing some small strength sessions afterwards but not a huge amount (just figured I'd do like 15 minutes everyday after I do my hour of cardio)

I haven't been following MMA closely before, but last weekend I watched UFC 202 and it was awsome! From now on I'm gonna watch it every time I can.

McGregor vs Diaz was really good and Rumble was ridicilous, but I loved all the fights really. Don't know why I haven't started watching this before.

Can't wait for next weekend, finally Gustaffson is fighting. I really love him because when I played UFC against my friend, any time I picked Gustaffson I won. So I hope he lives up to my expectations. Also I misheard the announcer in the game and I thought his nickname was The Baller, which I didn't understand, but I loved it. Turns out it's The Mauler, that's probably even better though.

Cowboy was great too. The mcgregor Diaz fight was awesome, my heart was pumping, was proper excited watching it. Thought Connor had gassed again in the second, but they both went at it all 5. Great fight to get you properly into watching MMA

Yeah, Cowboy was great although I really liked the other guy because of his nickname. Seriously, Rick The Horror Story. How cool is that. Oh and that Cody Garbrandt(?) guy was pretty good as well.

I swear I was sweating watching Mcgregor-Diaz. Fist I thought McGregor got this easly, but then he got tired tired and I thought he wouldn't even make it to the end. It was really good, I was so excited throught the whole thing.

Disappointing week as there was no improvement. I wanted learn Android but this week I didn't learn much. It wasn't because there was no time but because I was very complacent. Hopefully this weekend I will make up for the last week.

On the plus side I was able to use some skills in office I learned as a part of android. My tech lead was very appreciative of that.

I think the trick is to at least do a little each day (or however often you've scheduled).

Even if it's only making a few notes, reading, or watching a tutorial video. It at least gets you into the mindset of doing it every day and you can build on that.

I find that scheduling some time each day on Google calendar works well. You get prompts on your phone so there's no escape!

My strength has gone up pretty dramatically and my weight is gradually increasing but not as much as I would have liked as football is back on which means heavy days of drinking and no gym/diet which I'm cutting out and I'm only going out a few times a month now. Still about 20 lbs off my goal.

I've gotten enough discussions going/continuing really in general with the more rationale folks. Just never expected someone not even being able to handle being told a poster there was wrong and then start picking his ego up. I've had the opposite actually as this was the first time someone bothered to make things up and shift the goalposts around for a factual point. Previously I've had good discussions about squad things or tactics and such actually and being able to properly debate nicely instead of this.

I don't post when they're jerking off their team or dissing other teams because that's never going to be good anyway but actual discussions from time to time etc.

Fucked up last night lads.

Got a trial at a new job and didn't show up. I phoned up at 1pm saying I couldn't do my trial from 6pm-9pm as my niece was in hospital for an allergic reaction and I had to babysit. All I got was a stony: 'We'll be in touch' reply. Which didn't sound too appealing.

My current co-workers got me feeling bad about leaving in the first place, but since yesterday I just realised: 'wait fuck any cunt that's making me feel badly about leaving this no guaranteed hours minimum wage piece of shite fucking job, ya cunt.'

Ack well. Christmas is coming so there'll be plenty of Christmas jobs upcoming and I'll bounce then. Just gotten too bored of making pizzas for ever and ever, and too tired of Management. I respect my General Manager and one Supervisor -- all the other people in positions of authority are all fucking knobbers.

Man, I hope this other place calls me back and reschedules. I really do.

I've been sidelined from playing football for 5 weeks now because I twinged a ligament in my ankle. Any advice for strengthening it so I can get back to playing quicker?

It aches a lot if I walk too much on it so I've been resting it for the last week. My ankles are worse than RvPs I generally twist one of them every 6 months :/

Trying to bulk up, however I'm a small, somewhat skinny guy and after a month I see little difference. I've mostly been working with 10kg Dumbbells - curls, squats, bench press, etc. I'm seeing some difference in my arms and chest but not really anywhere else.

I think the diet is the issue. I don't think I'm getting anywhere near the amount of calories as my metabolism is really fast. I rarely make it to 2k calories and I believe I need to get to at least 2.1k to bulk at all. Ive been eating eggs, oats, an apple and peanut butter on toast for breakfast, normally some sort of lean meat for lunch, or tuna with baked potato and mayo. I snack on peanuts or almonds or Greek yoghurt, and for my dinner I have things like chicken curry or pasta bake.

Any tips? Would rather not take protein shakes, I've heard they aren't very healthy

On Tuesday one of my best friends lost his long hard fought battle with cancer. We spent so much time together and I miss him so much. Please make sure you guys cherish every moment with your best friends because you never known when it might be your last with them.

I was Facebook stalking some guy from my work that I like (as well as other people) and when I got home, I found that I'd somehow shared his fucking cover photo, like for 10 hours, and I didn't even have him as a friend on Facebook.
