This is all one sentence

Not many know this, but Manchester United have this amazing standing 75 year old record of including at least one youth academy product in its match day squad – you have to go all the way back to October 1937 which is the last time when we didn’t have an academy product in our matchday squad.

It shifts Manchester United from the third person ("Manchester United have this amazing standing [sic] 75 year old record") to the first person ("our matchday squad").

It includes two different spellings of 'match day' (United call it 'match day', other teams refer to it as 'matchday'), a dash where you should be using either a colon or an em-dash, and it's written in a clumsy conversational style: "Not many know this, but Manchester United have this amazing…"

I've glanced at the rest of it and you refer to "the Busby's Babes" (it's just "the Busby Babes"), forget to use question marks, and I think you'd do well to learn what an Oxford comma is.

You apparently want to be a professional journalist. You need to master the very basics. Ignoring the outright lies of the "professional writer" from the other thread, it's very apparent that you do not have a natural gift for writing. So you're going to need to work at it.

The world isn't short of blogs or opinions about football, so think about your angle here too. If your objective is to write something which would be substandard if it were posted here as a text post and then promote it on the sub, you're going to struggle. There needs to be a reason to read this stuff.

Aside from scoring that goal, he hasn't really played that welll.

He's played what, 2 matches for them?

Fosu-Mensah hasn't played enough to give more than an initial impression, and Pereira has been very quiet with the exception of that wonder goal.

The way people almost try and shoehorn Fosu mensah into any form of team selection and discussion would make any outsider think he's played at a high level for ages and done wonders by now. The reality is we have no idea. He's had literally one season with the first team and even then, barely played that much.

And in those games, he's been good and such but nothing like the outstanding/future of our midfield/best ever almost like people insinuate.

And if he doesn't deliver everyone will go on about how he's wasted etc.

The way we overrate our younger players borders on arsenal and Liverpool levels of delusion really with their actual squad.

Januzaj isn't even that great for one thing and people made him to be the next ronaldo. He has a lot more to show and prove before even being a first team member, as even lvg showed that.

And pereira? Again, nothing more as of yet other than too good for the under 21s but still lacking first team quality clearly as two managers in a row are showing.

Let's just relax first for goodness sakes. They may be first team players and more. Or they may just be squad members. But the way everyone (almost) overhypes and overrates them is beyond crazy honestly.

They're good prospects but that's it for now. Let's see how they actually do one full season on loan and playing more regularly now first. Januzaj in particular, has played literally 2 full games or so, so let's relax a little more and assess after maybe a month or so to be better equipped to compare his abilities and such.
