You had Colton R. Goodbrand (Which sounds like a made up name but amazingly is a real name), who was exposed after using a meme on Reddit to admit to murdering someone with their own drugs. Gawker did a full expose and got his photograph, I would link but linking to a cesspit like Gawker makes me feel dirty so just type 'Colton R. Goodbrand ' into google and it is the first result. Has anyone else other than Violentacrez basically utterly destroyed themselves online?

I know you had that idiot who told an airline on Twitter that she was a member of Al Qaeda and they alerted the FBI. Any other online complete fuckups?

here's the gist of it: we ended up talking for like a year on the phone, we exchanged pics, i gave her a fake name and picture. eventually she got attached and wanted to meet up. knowing i gave her a fake pic i knew this was impossible. the day she asked to meet up, i said ok and said i was driving to her house, then some hours later i said i was there and proceeded to delete/block her on everything. dick move on my part but it definitely went a lot further than i wanted/intended.

i don't think i ever had any intention of meeting with her and taking it offline, i was just lonely at the time. i don't really talk to people online anymore and i'm super paranoid.

yeah, it has changed several times since it all went down for one reason or another. changing carriers or transferring the number to someone else etc.

i don't really think she cares anymore, it was over 10 years ago. i check her fb from time to time and she's married and has a kid, so it seems like things are going pretty well for her.

Nick Bates aka. "Sick Nick" aka "PedoPoop" was an internet horror show, truly when you think you have seen it all Sick Nick takes it to the next level of WTF. Nick was a 'child love advocate' who admitted in an internet chat that he had had relations with a very young girl. This was passed on to the local DA who reached out to the victims family and got Nick sentenced a 40 year prison sentience with a 16 year minimum. A key part of his defense was a video he sent to the prosecutor of himself masturbating with his own feces, somehow this was supposed to prove he was incapable of harming a child. It did not work, thank you god. Have fun in prison buddy!

I did some shit, talked some shit and fucked some shit up on a defunct Web 1.0 blog. Part of my meltdown was emailing the admin of this site with my real email. I am an autistic manic schizo and couldn't control myself. He published my email to his blog and it became the first result when you google my name. I have an unusual name

The unflattering email called out "epic memes" and was unflattering. Even though the site is defunct and the results have long since passed as the first hit the damage is done. I basically became an unemployable NEET for roughly 8 years where googling my name rendered these results. Even now that it's gone I can't get a job because no one wants to take a chance on a 30+ year old adult with no work experience
