Can someone explain how Weev stays employed? (self.Drama)

He is a weirdly fascinating individual. Does anyone know how someone like Weev who has a criminal record and is known across the world for being involved in trolling groups, manages to support himself?

It seems like the answer is that he can't adequately support himself. I seem to remember that he used to run a shitty anti-Something Awful/white supremacist website a few years ago and it shut down because he couldn't afford the hosting costs (allegedly because he spent too much of his money on drugs).

What little money he has is probably "earned" through the petty cyber crime he's known for.

By and large he is a bigger liability to any company than an asset. He did a Reddit AMA that helped convict him so he destroyed his own case. Is that someone who would be good at dealing with security?

well look at kevin mitnick - probably the most famous of people who have done stuff like this and are now gainfully employed. i don't know whether or not weev is doing unscrupulous things to sustain himself, but it doesn't change the fact that companies do hire greyhat/blackhats for pentesting and other security stuff.

he obviously lacks any tact/people skills but i don't think it really means he is unemployable, just needs constant supervision.
