Feminists have to keep speaking about "gender wage gap" and problematic man spreading, because they need to keep attention away from real issues. They need to pollute equality discussions with nonsense, because otherwise people might hear things like this:

These kinds of things are the real inequalities with real world consequences. Some bitch getting triggered by a word isn't and I bet especially older feminists realize this. But they have to continue distracting everyone to try to keep their privileges.
