Banned from Woolworths Online Forever!
Last edited 19/08/2016 - 18:49 by 1 other user
Sheesh. Any company that shows such low respect for their customers as Woolworths does nowadays, IMO, shouldn't expect customers to show them any undue respect.
Cashback, Amex deals, Coupons, 5% off giftcards, egiftcards, fuel vouchers, Woolworths Dollars, 1/2 price deals, catalog specials etc……., etc……….
Give us fair price, let us shop straight, no bullshit woolies.
While shopping in Eastern States I found Woolies specials closelely matched Aldi's everyday prices. Take a chance Woolies.
Woolworths online shopping interface is psychological torture for purpose IMO. Shame Woolworths, shame.
So Wow claims I am in breach of their T&C. Really? How can this be. I've never read it, like 60+% of your customers.
So you CLAIM I have made 62 different Wow accounts. Wrong! I must argue. I've made about 130 according to my flakey records. But you deleted lots two years ago, and they are not in fact included in your current count list.
Now lets get down to it!
You lost dicksmith for $loss. You lost masters for massive $loss. You are on your back foot everywhere according to your financial reports and business plan adjustments.
Why pick on me? I have exploited an exploitative system you setup, with success :-) Up to 40% off occasionally. ?
Anyway my address has been banned from online delivery FOREVER.
As such I rang up to get my ~$700 egift card and unfilled order coupon code, refunded as I cannot spend as intended. As expected they stated it can't be done. I said if you think about it, it's money and it can be done,… really. She went and spoke to her supervisor agan, who then spoke to her supervisor, that concluded that I will need to contact the online egiftcard provider. Which is 282% crap because they will not be able to verify the reasons needed for refund at woolies. So I asked isn't egiftcards a woolworths company, and then I died a final DOI (death of issue) with her reply.
Bottom Line -
You cant get a refund for Woolworths giftcards even when Woolworths refuse you service!

Try reading it a few more times, it becomes more humorous the more times you read it lol!

Try reading it a few more time
I don't wanna!
They should make prisoners in Guantanamo Bay re-read that over and over!
I actually thought it was quite easy to read.
TLDR - OP morally justifies exploiting Woolies online. He states how he justifies the deed. His exploits resulted in his address being banned. He now invokes his right to a refund (of unused credit) but is being dismissed without any grounds.

You're forgetting this genius argument:
So Wow claims I am in breach of their T&C. Really? How can this be. I've never read it

This is the greatest argument of all time. Lawyers everywhere will be lining up to use this as justification for anything. Brilliant in its simplicity!

Judge: You've raped a woman, stolen a vehicle, comitted fraud and have shoplifted from Woolworths'. How do you plead?
OP: Not guilty, my honour. I didn't read the rules and didn't know what I did was against criminal law.
Judge: Hmmmm damn that's a good defense. I guess you're free to go.
If you ever feel stupid, just think about some of these forum post and you'll feel a lot better, you'll feel quite smart.

130 accounts… really… go to aldi if their prices are so much better

I have exploited an exploitative system you setup, with success :-) Up to 40% off occasionally. ?
Oh so you admit that what you were doing was exploitation.
You got caught.
Your complaint is what exactly?
It iz your own problem and whining here.
Why $700? You have order that much?
Why and how they banning your address.
I thunk you should spend more time to type what actually happening then whining about Woolworths banned you.

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
Not really. Next time read an organisations terms and conditions, its pretty simple.

Sharing is a bunch of bull, too. And helping others. And what's all this crap I've been hearing about tolerance?
TLDR; Woolies are making loss in every business including masters, dick smith etc and You cant get a refund for Woolworths giftcards
- +3 votes
To be fair I'm sure the op is not the first ozbargainer to have multiple Woolworths accounts..
Maybe just the first to be banned
- +2 votes
You mention 60% of the customers are just like you so why pick on you. I disagree – I'm sure 60% of customers don't have 150+ Woolworths Online accounts. More like 1%. And it's possible and effective to ban that 1%, that's why you've been banned. Part of being a true OzBargainer is staying one step ahead of the companies. I guess you'll be moving houses soon! What suburb do you want to move to?

Bad luck, Dan Murphys is owned by Woolies too.

I do too, but when you do something stoopid, it's a bit tough to weave your way out of it.

While you are at it, why don't you share how you exploit the system resulting in life time ban?
- +1 vote
Well. If you create a new account every shop, and use Egiftcards to pay. A different ***@yopmail.com email, and change of name, you get free shipping each time, and some extras such as $10 off.
I assumed lots of people have been doing this.
I'm guessing you got your egiftcards at a discounted rate, right? (Like 5% off)
- +2 votes
It might seem like a good idea in theory, but at what cost does the $10 discount come? Having to create new e-mail addresses every time, having no way or making it very hard to track or recall orders or receipts down the track, the time it takes to open e-mail address, fill in your delivery address and credit card information every time, keep a spreadsheet of all your 150+ usernames & passwords. It almost doesn't seem worth the $10 – this is your life you're wasting away by trying to save a few dollars. Plus the stress and risk of being banned (which actually happened.) Pay the $10 and live a little more. Don't waste so much of your life

So you lie to woolies, woolies don't like you lying to them, you angry?

How many Ozbargain accounts do you have?
Are all these responses from you? - +1 vote
soooo extremely hard to understand this post without reading the comments..
Entitled much? I don't need to be told not to run someone over in a car to know it's wrong.
I ordered from Coles online. Problem solved.
I really don't like woolies course.
- +6 votes
Um go to the shop and spend your $700 in gift cards like a normal non scamming person?
- -5 votes
I find woolworths many usa-style con techniques as mentioned in the original post to be designed toward scamming the consumer. So I don't apologise for trying the same to them. I have been properly ripped off by woolies around a dozen times over recent years but that is a different issue.
No one here seems to agree. No probs.- +2 votes

Please elaborate on that!
(This'll be good!)

I'm starting to feel that Ozbargain is getting more weird/lame topics like Whirlpool.
One of the reasons why I stop visiting Whirlpool…

I quit Ozbargain. You are very good conditioned consumer mentality.
Lol yeah that was shown to me the other day
Apparently that guy is still active on here!

Terrible site with tyrannical moderators and robot admins that automatically bans for slight disagreement. - Linda
The tyrannical moderators and robot make you forgive the democracy sense. - Francesco
a little too similar.. perhaps productreview should review their user database.
The funniest part is they think slagging OzB on product reviews will actually hurt it. As if it's selling a product or some such.
Hahaha some times it does feel that way! You can not have an different opinions then the masses! But i like making people angry! Either way i will show respect to the older members and one that post deals more often because they keep this site running!
Typical internet for every good person you meet you also meet a bunch of flops! But the special few make it worth while.

Who don't you open another 129 OzBargain accounts with ***@yopmail.com emails? Than when OzBargain bans you, you could start a thread in the woolworths forums.
- +4 votes
sometimes i think im stingy, then i read about people who make over 130 accounts to get free delivery/$10 here and there. I feel not so stingy at all anymore.
What the hell were you buying and a what price that justified setting up 130 different accounts?
Anyway, there is a perfectly easy way around this, get anything delivered from WOW to a different address. Done.

nice tl;dr above:
OP morally justifies exploiting Woolies online. He states how he justifies the deed. His exploits resulted in his address being banned. He now invokes his right to a refund (of unused credit) but is being dismissed without any grounds.
Investment analysts now realise why the profit margins in Woolies supermarkets have fallen over the past few years - people buying egiftcards and then opening up 130 online accounts
Yeah but i think OP is a lost case, he has no structure to the post, I cant even read it

Anyway my address has been banned from online delivery FOREVER
i feel sorry for the people that ever have to live at that address in the future
