No they're not, they're extremely clever people with too much time on their hands and are actually managing to trick professional journalists into thinking all sorts of stupid shit about the internet and in a lot of cases try to report utter bullshit as facts when it's really obvious with a simple google search that it is in actually all bullshit.

In fact, I'm willing to bet that the people who did this survey, also decided to mess with these idiot Canadians because they're the type of country that has completely removed free speech and free expression.

Any time I see these morons talk about 'internet trolls' I immediately know I'm in for a rant and lecture more ignorant than anything anyone in my family could come up with about the internet in general. They want to paint everyone on the internet as these horrible and evil people so they can spread their censorship and control media once again but fail to realise it's precisely because all these people are just pranksters pissing them off no one intelligent is going to take them seriously.

The problem is though of course, the politicians in power who do actually take them seriously and have no problem creating laws that blatantly violate peoples' human rights.
