Cancelled my preorder (self.WWEGames)

With the news that there is no showcase plus the BS of the NXT pack only being in the special edition and not releasing for at least 2 months I'm voting with my wallet and not getting the game. At least not day 1. Anybody else feel the same. I'm tired of 2ks bullshit at least with the wrestling games.

I didn't even finish Stone Cold's one. The last showcase I truly enjoyed was the one in WWE 2k14 with the Undertaker and that is only because of my nostalgia for the Undertaker. I am glad they spent the time on the two modes that will no doubt keep people playing for the entire year.

With all the new news I totally might buy the game with the NXT pack due to what seems to be immense changes to Universe mode.

I can understand the NXT pack anger, but did you really invest that much time into Showcase mode? Plus you're not doing much as long as you end up buying the game anyways. If you really want to speak with your wallet, don't buy it at all.

Replaying the classic matches in the classic venues. Plus the sense of accomplishment of unlocking everything.

Of all the things they could have removed, I'm glad it was the "one and done" showcase mode. Especially if it means freeing up resources to make other modes better

If they actually improve the modes it's worth it. But a little tweak here little tweak there no thanks. It will be back in 2k18 mark my words.

    The only thing I'm wondering is why bother saying anything. Trying to incite revolution just because YOU specifically don't like something?

    No offense, but MANY players WANTED them to stop Showcase and just work on Universe. While I'm not exactly one of them, I can see the appeal.

    Showcase Mode was trash. Good riddance to that garbage mode that served very little to zero purpose.

    For me Showcase was the main mode of the game, so I'm pretty annoyed that there isn't one in 2k17, I definitely won't be getting it now until the 2k16 servers are shut off at least.

    It was for me too. My career was too boring and Universe without a story creator is also boring and too much work. I could have waited on Nakamura but no showcase was too much.
