Leading Occupations

Note: This section presents two sets of information on occupations. The first part presents data for the 30 leading detailed occupations for employed women, which were selected based on the number of women employed (among full-time wage and salary employees). Data presented for these occupations include: total number of women employed, women as a percent of total employed, and median weekly earnings by sex. The second part presents the percent distribution of people employed in intermediate occupations by sex, race, and Hispanic or Latino ethnicity.
