I thought Fellaini deserved man of the match. As much as I felt Bailly put in a solid performance, I was extremely impressed with Fellaini, I’ve never seen him play so well defensively, he remained calm under pressure, in the first half, I thought he looked a bit too erratic, but second half he came out and was just a rock at the back.

Shaw was fantastic at getting forward, has the confidence to get forward knowing he can get back and defend, so he put in a good performance.

Zlatan was great, a lot of people don’t like him they take his jokes seriously, he’s just having fun and it’s refreshing and nice to see a big player have fun on and off the pitch. But he’s a very selfless player, made a few good passes and got a sick goal!

I thought Valencia was one of our best players in the first half, attacking the opposition and getting past defenders. Glad to see he got a chance.

But out of all of the performances, I was massively let down with Anthony Martial. He clearly didn’t look happy on the wing, last season he was running at defences, chasing every ball. I saw him pull up a few times rather than chase balls. He looked like he didn’t care and I felt he would’ve given more if he were the chosen striker. I would’ve liked to have seen Mkhi get a bit longer because I don’t feel as though Martial really added anything.

Overall, I thought it was a solid performance, as soon as we got the first goal, the team settled down and we started playing with confidence, there were glimpses of a typical Mourinho side, but, still a long ways to go before we’re playing like champions.
