27th May, 2016. Manchester United announce that José Mourinho is the new manager of our beloved and cherished club.

In the last 78 days since then we've waited on baited breath for the start of the 2016/2017 Premier League challenge. Every single one of those days my anticipation and excitement has increased to and beyond any summer I have ever experienced.

The four "specialist" signings we've made from the quick deal to bring Eric Bailly, the Zlatan announcement, the table-throwing-toys-out-the-pram Mhkitaryan deal to the longest and most expensive signings in the history of football bringing Pogba home.

It's been exhausting and thrilling for us all.

Sunday, August 14th 2016 is officially the day that our season starts and I'm incredibly excited to see our 'new' club in Premier League action. I can't begin to explain how I've felt waking up today, like a child waking up on Christmas morning - it's a far cry from the feeling of living in fear on match days that recent years have served. Today a new era begins.
