Gary Johnson Called Donald Trump A Pussy Again

During the first Libertarian Party debate there were several memorable lines. One of the most entertaining, however, was when Gary Johnson called Donald Trump a pussy. The line drew applause from the audience and praise from libertarians on Facebook. Some didn’t approve of the language but they all liked that Johnson was taking Trump head on. With libertarians’ tacit approval, Gary Johnson called Donald Trump a pussy again at CPAC.

It appears that Gary Johnson is trying to get a rise out of Donald Trump. He wants Trump to respond which will generate media attention for his campaign and the Libertarian Party. That shouldn’t be too hard if he keeps repeating the line. Marco Rubio relentlessly made fun of Trump’s fingers and got quite the response during the last GOP debate. Gary Johnson should be able to accomplish the same with this line.

Unlike many of Trump’s baseless insults Gary Johnson called Donald Trump a pussy and he can actually back it up. Johnson is regular marathon runner, long distance cyclist, Iron Man competitor, and accomplished mountain climber. He’s even climbed Mount Everest and the other Seven Summits (the highest summit on each of the seven continents). If people are looking for some machismo in their candidate Johnson is a much better choice.

On the other hand, Donald Trump is a pampered, overweight, urbanite who’s driven around in limos and waited on hand and foot. Behind all of his tough talk there’s nothing more than a weak, spoiled child. Gary Johnson is right to call him a pussy.

The insult is also meant to show that behind all of Donald Trump’s bluster he’s not as tough as he seems. In fact, he’s an insecure bully which is why he’s always attacking everyone else. It’s why Trump is so defensive when people make fun of his fingers. Gary Johnson called Donald Trump a pussy to draw attention to that reality.

Now that Gary Johnson has gotten the media’s attention he needs to make his case. Johnson has an incredible record as an entrepreneur who truly started with nothing. His eight years as Governor of New Mexico are equally impressive. And of course, Gary Johnson was the Libertarian Party nominee for President in 2012. Hopefully the media will spend more time covering that record in the future.
