Looking for some advice from residents if possible. Ill be there from Sept 30-Oct 3. Ill be going to the Stoke match on the 2nd and was wondering which part of town i should stay in/avoid. Im travelling with my gf and were in out mid-late 20's. A lot of the cheaper places are either in Didsbury or Fallowfield. Are these suburbs? They seem a little far from OT. Would prefer to stay in town and take some of the city culture in.

Should i just bite the bullet and get a place in the center? Are there any hip neighbourhoods you can recommend?
