I'm simply confused. People on here ridicule Trump supporters and r/The_donald for being offensive, racist, and downright trollish, while I see this sub reflect many of those same qualities. Is it out of sarcasm and mockery, or is this how you guys truly want to get your point across? I've seen many comments slander Trump on his looks, use immature insults to tarnish his intellect, and simply berate him through and through, yet when his supporters do similar things, people on here act as if it's isolated with only Trump supporters. Bullying a bully is not the way to prove a point. State logic, facts, reason, and cool-headedness. I've seen a few good posts actually that have sourced facts on Trump's racism and two-facedness, but most of the posts on here are no better than the post on r/The_donald they try to berate and put down. This sub just makes no sense to me. People on here ridicule Trump supporters for 'hating blacks and gays', yet I see a lot of disregard towards whites and heterosexuals. Yes those are both majority, but that doesn't make hate okay. Especially presumptive notions that whites are naturally racist and bigoted. That's not to say that none are, but saying that ALL are is, well, racist. Yes, r/The_donald has similar comments that abide to different races and peoples, and I'm in no way stating that their comments are just or fair, but the ones on here also are not. Insulting and insulter is a terrible tactic and proves nothing besides ignorance and unintelligence.
This sub needs to take itself seriously, else it really should be seen as no different to your arch sub.
