TV-B-Gone!

Mark, Michael, Doug and I worked on our wearable electronics project (for Nuit Blanche and other events). It will have RGB LEDs, a microcontroller, sensors and infrared communications. Possibilities are endless.
Here we are conducting a test to see if the infrared can turn off TVs. Check out the first part of the video below. We’re acting pretty juvenile and all the people at the bar are wondering what’s happening to their TV sports programming.
We are using the list of all the TV-off codes for North America (thanks to Mitch Altman).
What a thrill that was. I think a wearable project including Arduino is going to be a hit.
We also attended ModLab were we saw Doug’s paper electronics, JC’s Raspberry Pi project, Dave’s 3D printing and many other cool projects.
