One of the most common accusations of the Mgtow movement is that this is a movement that supports misogynistic views towards women.
Perhaps there are some MGTOW men who harbour a deep resentment of the opposite sex, but those men are responsible for their own viewpoints if that is the case. On the other hand, many of the remarks espoused by MGTOWs are not actually misogynistic at all, but are construed that way by those who are either ignorant, or those who are simply trying to be a white knight for women.
Some have heard MGTOW content makers describe female nature, which is their most common talking point, and believe that describing hypergamy, bad boy appeal, and gynocentrism is somehow advocating the hatred of women. However, I beg to differ: MGTOW men don't advocate hatred of women. Even if some remarks towards them are obscene, the same could be said about the obscenity dished out towards men in the media. An example would be when Sharon Osbourne, the wife of musician Ozzy Osbourne laughed at the idea of a man having his penis hacked off for wanting a divorce. That I would define as Misandry.
Furthermore, MGTOWs do not advocate that women be stoned to death for adultery, nor do they insist that a women should be covered from head to toe in a big black sack. They don't agree with female genital mutilation, and don't condone child marriage. What I'm saying should be quite clear: the Islamic world is misogynistic, not MGTOW.
Here's the difference between the two: the Islamic world uses the masculine strength and the laws of the land to bully and force women into submission. The Islamic world is also grounded in fierce traditionalism, advocating marriage and even polygamy, and ultimately favors big government with extreme overreach into the personal lives of its subjects.
This is everything MGTOW are against.
MGTOW do not use their physical strength to force women to do as they please, and do not seek to control a women's every move with either brute force or through the state. In addition, MGTOW are not traditionalists; they don't advocate marriage, and a married man cannot be a MGTOW. As for the state, MGTOW attempt to distance themselves from the state as much as mortally possible, viewing it as the enemy of male actualization.
No, MGTOW do not hate women, even if some have made unflattering comments about them on forums.
One common accusation towards MGTOW is that red pill men can't get sex because they are incompetent with women, and are thus in contempt towards women. Some have even gone so low to compare MGTOW to Elliot Rodger, a mass shooter who lashed out because of frustration towards women.
First of all, in regards to sex, most MGTOW understands that his manhood is not defined by how many women he has had sex with. Besides, there is nothing bad about not having sex, a simple cost-benefit analysis will reveal this.
Sexual intercourse can give both parties involved temporary pleasure (a release of dopamine in men, to be exact). However, there is a large risk of getting a girl pregnant, as condoms can he punctured and women can lie about being on birth control. Furthermore, STD's are the most serious risk, and some are not stopped by contraceptives (such as HPV). Not to mention paternity fraud, false rape accusations and fatal attractions.
So not having sex is not a disadvantage to any man, and no one died from celibacy. Besides, a man who is sexually inactive is more productive (ie Nikola Tesla), and a man who is in control of his sexuality cannot be manipulated by a woman. Women only have power over men through their sexuality, and they lose that power if men don't surrender. This is what tools like Elliot Rodger failed to understand.
Not all MGTOW are not bitter towards women, as some continue to date while others have occasional sex. Still, some men have been taken to the cleaners in divorce court, while others were taken advantage of for not understanding female nature. They have every right to be resentful (that's the beauty of freedom of conscience).
MGTOW understand female nature, whereas blue pill men don't, or they are simply in denial of it. Women are attracted to dominant men with resources, and that is because they generally want to take the easy road in life. Women biologically seek out security, depending on either men or the state to live a comfortable life. Those women who don't do this simply have not acted out on their biological imperatives.
To understand female nature, think of Islam. There are so-called moderates who don't behave in a violent/reprehensible manner, but there are extremists who do. The extremists follow the scriptures prescriptions of violence and bigotry, but moderates may not. Yet those same so-called moderates may still take full advantage of what the extremists have fought for (Censorship of language in regards to criticizing Islam, for example), and they refuse to condemn any specific Islamic militia/regime (ie, Isis, Saudi laws, etc). They want the same thing that the extremists want, but they don't take the extreme path to secure what violent Muslims have; they just reap the rewards.
Likewise, women who don't act on their nature are still enjoying the benefits feminists and genuine misandrists have acquired for them. They still enjoy alimony, palimony, child support, lower fitness standards for combat and emergency services, unfair, gynocentric laws, etc. They distance themselves from feminism, but they still want what the feminists want, albeit without the label.
MGTOW men understand female nature, and are not misogynistic for doing so. Just like how criticizing Islam is not racist or Islamophobic.
MGTOW is constantly accused of misogyny by women, MRA's, feminists, and many other groups of people, so I decided to write this piece to respond to this accusation. I've been told that MGTOW is the male equivalent of feminism, and that MGTOW's are bitter because they "Can't get laid". Perhaps this shaming language will continue to persist, but in the end, it's not going to be enough to deter MGTOW.
