Bit interesting, but Adnan will be wearing the 44 shirt during his loan spell for Sunderland according to their official roster.. even whilst the 11 was open for Sunderland on their squad number list..

Maybe not a big deal but maybe Moyes talked about starting fresh once more, getting back to his old self or something, and hopefully he'll be able to replicate some of his 2013/14 season form while donning the 44 once more.

I still have high hopes for him, still found him class watching his u21 matches that I caught every so often, and hope he can make it here so take it as you will.. game against City today/tomorrow is at 5:30GMT for those looking to follow (like 12:30 eastern for the American lot). Not sure if it's on the tele or what.

I still have hope for him too, but i wouldn't use his u21 matches as an example of him still being class. He's way above that level, so obviously he would look amazing in there.

Tomorrows game might be too early for him, but do you see anyone else in that Sunderland squad starting ahead of him in the next couple of games? Khazri is probably rated higher, but can't see anyone else keep him from the starting XI

11 at sunderland probably wouldn't be the best number to take, especially if your initials are AJ - he was initially 11, they changed it after they realised
