We all knew the tide would turn in the general. Everyone knows that Republican primaries are clown shows that take place in an alternate reality. But somehow, somehow, Trump supporters were still fooled by the "massive support" he got against the nutjobs and the praise he got for being a dick to his competitors.

Now that it won't work they are doubling down on the stupid that worked in the primaries but get zero traction. Trump is off the rails completely, Republicans are disavowing their own candidate and even though I knew it was coming I had no idea it would be this glorious.

The diehard supporters and trolls that still post "Trump is going to kill her in the first debate and retake the lead" and other such nonsense is getting pathetic. Sad! I've even seen people questioning why the entire politics sub is anti Trump "all of a sudden". You mean when it really matters the majority of people want nothing to do with him? Big surprise.
