There's this very good RTS called RUSE and I took a look at some of the scenarios...

March 1943, Ukraine, Soviet Union:

After Stalingrad, the German front is broken by the advancing Red Army. But the latter stretches its supply lines to thin, thus creating a salient. German Field Marshall von Manstein jumps on the opportunity to counterattack and launches two armored forces on it: from hunters, the Russians have become the prey.

Was the Soviet version of Rommel leading the attack? Also front being broken =/= being able to launch armored counterattacks.

May 1940, Northern Europe:

Mussolini never rose to power in italy, which joined the USA and Great Britain in their struggle against Germany. The latter country, forseeing the difficulty of such an uneven war, prepared itself to face this alliance by accelerating the devolopment of new weapons.

In this scenario Germany gets nuclear artillery, Maus tanks and jet bombers... by 1940. Also if in this scenario Hitler has the sense to see how uneven the war is maybe he shouldn't declare war in the first place...

May 6th, 1945. East Frisia, Germany : While the Allies enter germany in early 1945, Japans send a small expeditionary force to support its European ally. But when this force lands in East Frisia, Berlin has already fallen and the Reich is about to surrender. The Imperial Army has therefore no other choice than to strike immediately, without waiting for all its equipment to be unloaded, in order to create a bridgehead to gather the Wehrmacht's remnants...

It wasn't until early 1945 that Japan thought Germany might need some help? Also East Frisia the fuck? If there was any sense in sending an expeditionary force wouldn't be taking the Suez and landing in northern Italy be more plausible? Regardless, did the Yamato oneshot the entire Allied fleet? Even if somehow glorious Nipponese steel and convenient hurricances had destroyed the entire Allied surface fleet submarines would still sink the Imperial Navy on account of the terrible antisubmarine weapons of the Japanese. As for gathering the Wehrmacht's remnants at this level of implausibility the Japanese should of Landed in Courland for another invasion towards Moscow.

March 3rd, 1945. Fort Knox, USA:

USA and Japan didn't enter the war in 1941. But when Germany triumphs over Russia in early 1945, Japan lands troops in California without a declaration of war. Completely taken by surprise, the US army collaspses and falls back always more to the East... When the triumphant Japanese forces enter Kentucky, US high command orders the Federal Reserve's gold to be evacuated from Fort Knox, the only hope to keep fighting in the East...

Germany beats the Soviet Union in 1945? The fuck? If they were going to win it would be in 1941. The only way I see it being drawn out to 1945 is if the Soviets lose so much industry and army they can't launch an effective counterattack but Germany can't further attack either because of supply lines and what not. Still an equilibrium like this lasting till 1945 is unbelievable. Unless of course, Germany's triumph was killing all the partisans and every nonaryan was a partisan. Meanwhile what was the US doing, near completely demilitarizing? Destroying all of it's foreign intelligence capability? Still Japan would be stretched to thin and lacking manpower unless they're using chinese conscripts (safe to assume Japan conquered China in this scenario) which is unlikely and still probably wouldn't be enough. And evacuating Fort Knox's gold is the only hope? Is FDR a jew? There was tons of industry on the east coast, even if Japan had somehow pushed this far the US should of, would of, regrouped by this point and would of been able to support a war effort.

July 1942, France: Abandoned by its allies, France stands alone against Europe's totalitarian states. Squandering its military budget on the Maginot line, it misses the opportunity to modernized its armed forces. When the German, Italian and Russian armies gather against France, its army is mostly outdated...

Soviet Armies in Germany! But no Japanese expeditionary force? But this scenario isn't as completely ridiculous and I would actually be interested in reading an alternate history scenario like this. France had some decent modernized parts of their army and it is an interesting question whether France would of kept spending on the Maginot or would of put more into modern equipment.

The singleplayer has some wehraboo in it. It's not really anything of particular note till the end when the player has to take a base from German fanatics armed with Maus tanks and nuclear V2s. Then after that a Soviet army steals the V2s and goes rogue planning to start WW3 and the player has to stop them, possibly choosing an Allied army or a rearmed Wehrmacht.
