People were outraged in case of SMriti Irani because she 'allegedly' ignored the victims families pleas for help.

see the things with "Allegedly" was that it was misleading to say the least because she wouldn't have the same pull but here we have a guy whose vehicle just killed somebody and you know he is going to get away with it too.

I said 'allegedly' for the sake of neutrality. The victim's family and some eyewitnesses claim that Irani ignored their repeated requests for help.
In any case, if your chauffeur drives a car and accidentally hits someone, then you are not criminally liable so I don't know what you are talking about. Moreover, he immediately sent the victim to a hospital so I don't know what you would have wanted him to do.
But I guess, it is fashionable to claim that the entire establishment is somehow biased against BJP.

If the family of the dead victim decide to blame him we may see a different reaction from him. That is the real test.

Does it matter whether he was driving it himself or not?
Unless it was Hema Malini's driver or a car in convoy of Smriti Irani, it's not worth posting. Also, don't expect Barkha to go interview the family of deceased or this sub to outrage for days.

Scindia was travelling on NH-66 near Alapuzzha when his car hit a sexagenarian riding a two-wheeler, who died on the spot.
  • A 65-year-old man died after being hit by Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia's car near Alapuzzha in Kerala on Wednesday.
  • Scindia, a three-time Member of Parliament from Guna, Madhya Pradesh, was travelling on the National Highway-66 in Pattanakadu village in Alappuzha when his car hit a sexagenarian riding a two-wheeler, according toAAj Tak.
  • After handing over the car to the police, Scindia left inanother car, KC Venugopal, Congress MP from Alappuzha, saidadding his colleague would later call on the bereaved family.
  • Besides the former union minister, three other Congressworkers were in the car when the mishap occurred, Venugopalsaid.
